What a special place in South Fork! Kent & Toby sure know what true, genuine hospitality is... how very delightful! Our dear friend Ernie (the barista in Wolf Creek's Continental Expresso Bar) shared with us his recommendation for this cozy place... and oh how thankful we have been that he did! We had always stayed in Pagosa Springs since 2005...

What a treat this place is! Kent is the friendliest innkeeper and his dog Toby adds a special touch. What a warm welcome we received and hospitality at its finest! This is our second trip here and we LOVE it here! The cabins are extremely clean and comfortable, well-equipped and just perfect! Although they are not fancy, they are fabulous!...

Very clean, well equipped cabins for very reasonable prices. Dog friendly. Kitchen is simple and small but has everything you need. You can also borrow a slow cooker if you want one. We were there on some very cold days, the cabin stayed warm. However the floor can feel a bit cold so bring warm socks or slippers. The bedding...

This was a great find for our trip through Colorado to points south. Kent was there to welcome us as well as his side kick Toby. Toby is a delightful 4 legged asset to the establishment! We walked into the cabin and saw immediately how clean and organized it was. They are a little dated but very clean, comfortable and...

What a great place. Cabins were clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there except your food. Kent and Toby were great owners. So relaxing there and everyone we met was so nice. We will be going back there to stay again. Our cabin was two bedrooms with three beds a great little kitchen and living room with comfy furniture....

Came up for a quick weekend with my daughter on a getaway fishing trip. Stumbled onto this lodging and got lucky in that they had a cancellation. It was Rhythms on the Rio weekend and everything was sold out. I was desperate for lodging and decided to make it work. We were very pleasantly surprised when we checked in. With...

I discovered Lazy Bear cabins through my parents. They stayed in the cabins 4 weeks last summer and were very comfortable. So when I went to South Fork in 2015, I stayed at Lazy Bear for 8 nights. My review: Pros: -As the other reviewers have noted, the owner Kent is FABULOUS. He is a super nice man and his...

Our family of 7 suspected we had found a gem when we were greeted by the solo canine welcome wagon, Toby the Australian shepherd! Our suspicion was confirmed when Kent showed us to our cabin - immaculate and comfortable!! It is obvious that Kent (owner) pays great attention to detail! Our only regret - we couldn't stay longer!!

Clean, fair price, and nice owner. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. Was only about 20 minutes from the ski area and with a kitchen, we saved a lot by cooking ourselves. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for 3 nights while skiing at Wolf Creek. The cabins were very clean and have everything you need. I would recommend this place over a hotel. You get more privacy and have all the features of home. Management was very friendly and helpful. Will be staying here in the future.
