For 5 nights I stayed here (June 3rd to June 7th). Difficult to describe the experience for me in that words often times cannot reach to the depths of what we find. Peace, quiet, nature and a staff that is totally delightful to interact with...More

It was great to chat while you were here and to re-learn about the small world we live in, with connections from the past. Your enthusiasm shows in your review, and we hope to have you back again to visit us. Next time, save room...More
If you like rustic and being "at one" with nature, this is the place to be! You can even sleep with the mice and rats! The cabins are roomy, but are in need of repair. The roofs are beginning to sag, they are not air...More

I can assure you that there are no rats at Milford House, there are mice and squirrels and the occasional chipmunk. We are a wilderness resort, and have learned to live with some of our furry friends. If you're lucky you might even see a...More
The seventh time's the charm, as were all the other visits here! We stayed in the quaint cabin Colonel in 2009 and 2010, then discovered the Hollow Cabin, and this is our fifth visit here since 2013...

We stayed in the Thomas cabin with our four teenagers for three nights. We had three bedrooms (one of which was quite large) and plenty of space to spread out. There was a full-sized fridge, and a sink area, which were nice to have as...More

If you would like to add the meal plan to your stay, you can do so on arrival. However you cant opt for the meal plan for part of your stay. If you're not sure which you'd rather, best thing to do would be to go without the meal plan, and just pay for what meals you have in our licensed dining room. Once you decide, you cant change it. And yes, 6 and under is free if you opt for the meal plan.
