Along Ramona Lake, these relaxed cabins are 24 miles from State Route 287, and 4 miles from the Mount Margaret Trailhead and the Lady Moon Trailhead. The casual cabins have flat-screen TVs, DVD players, kitchens and sitting areas, plus wood stoves, outdoor picnic tables and propane grills. Upgraded cabins add 1 to 2 bedrooms, living areas, dining areas and fireplaces, plus decks.

Where do I start? What a wonderful place we found in a beautiful spot in Colorado! Our cabin was perfect for our weekend. A cozy front room with a fireplace and kitchen filled with all we needed! The bed was so comfy and we loved the featherbed. We also loved the Tavern. The food is delicious and the specialty drinks were delightful! We happened to be there for Karaoke and that was a blast! We will make this an annual trip to celebrate our engagement that took place during our stay! The owners are extremely friendly and have created a wonderful and relaxing retreat in the Red Feather Lakes area.

We recently spent Labor Day Weekend @ Marrs Cabin #4 and our extended family rented cabin # 5 . Our family loved the settings and the accommodations as both cabins were fresh and clean for our stay. Our hosts Rich and Kerrie (Owners) were gracious, warm and accommodating to our requests. The view from our room and front porch overlooking Ramona Lake was serene and beautiful each morning with our coffee. Their location is walking distance to Red Feather village and the shops located on main street. We completely enjoyed the time spent there and agreed that this should be at a minimum a yearly event, however we plan to make it back before then. Also the "Tavern" which is adjacent to the cabins has great food, live music on Saturday and a host of games with indoor and outdoor seating which Rich and Kerrie also own. Its a great setting and you can park your car and walk to town and enjoy nightly dinners at the tavern.…

As always great place to stay near fishing. Ramona Lake is steps away from the cabin but you need a fishing pass which is easy to get. Otherwise, Dowdy Lake is public and less than 3 minutes drive away. Since new ownership a different place and we really enjoyed our visit this time. One caution: Avoid the “Hilltop” liquor store and cabins next to Hiawatha Lake also in Red Feather Lakes. Their cabins are cheaper but Larimer County Crime blotter shows arrests of felons last month plus the place looks very sketchy.

Had an amazing 3 night stay at Marr's Mountain Cabins! Cabins were perfect, beds so comfortable. Rich and Kerrie were great hosts and available for any request - like more K-Cups for the Keurig. The Tavern at Red Feather Lakes, which is owned by the Marr's, is perfect for guests staying at the cabins.
