I didn't come far - from Durango, actually. When we arrived, Margaret, the owner, gave us a tour of her beautiful home, showed us where we could find complimentary food and then showed us to our room that had a back door to the hot tub. I felt so guilty because I tracked mud onto her nice white carpet and...

Very lovely b&b! Perfect location, we parked and walked just about everywhere. We were able to go snowshoeing Saturday in a fantastic made to order snow! When we returned to our room, got in the hot tub and was a bit disappointed with the water, had a bad smell and was a bit green. We should of gone to the...

This was our 2nd time there. The hospitality was great. They had a nice wine happy hour. The breakfasts were very good. Our first breakfast we had a wonderful egg, potato, sausage casserole, a baked apple pancake and blueberry coffeecake. The 2nd morning it was scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, a terrific potato casserole, cinnamon rolls and fresh strawberries and...

My wife and I were priviliged to recently spend a night at the Black Bear Manor. We stayed in the Royal Suite with all the amenities. Margaret was a wonderful hostess who made us feel welcome from the outset. The evening wine get together afforded us the opportunity to meet the other guests and share great stories. We even went...

My wife and I recently stayed here for my birthday. We weren't expecting such an outstanding set up! Everything about the Black Bear Manor was phenomenal, from the management team to the picturesque/mountain back dropped location. The breakfast was to die for, along with each and every little treat made from scratch. Everyone was so nice and all of the...

Clean, friendly, warm atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and wine in the "gathering room" with other guests in the afternoon. Many amenities, comfortable beds, and great location in town. We interacted with other guests at this B & B more than usual, perhaps because of the wine social. My wife was not as enthused as I to socialize, but...

Large B&B that is very well maintained, clean, plenty of amenities, breathtaking views from observatory. Lots to see and do in the area. Had good fellowship with other guests at wine reception and at the fabulous breakfast. Will definitely return.

Beautiful bed and breakfast surrounded by magnificent mountains. I loved this little town and the warm welcome we received at the black bear manor. Good hearty breakfast to start your day off and Telluride is just a short drive from there.

My husband and I regularly visit Black Bear Manor and are always impressed by the level of service. We feel as if we're always treated like family. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are comfortable, the rates are affordable, the happy hour is fabulous, the location is superb. This place is by far our favorite b&b; not other bed and...

This B&B was so welcoming and immaculate with attention to the smallest detail. The rooms were warm and inviting with a fireplace in our Classic Queen Suite. The breakfast had to be the best in town and was prepared by the friendliest staff. The atmosphere made for great conversation with the other guests, especially with the wine reception to break...
