Bed & Breakfast!!! Friendly, warm, comfortable, inviting, delicious breakfast, !!! Cannot say enough about this location and our stay was extremely enjoyable! The location was great for the sight-seeing at Valley of the Gods, the Paint Mines, any places in the area! Please call for your stay... the owners are full of information about things to do and place to see!
Quick one night stay and it was amazing. Great private location, great service. Very accommodating to our early arrival. Water available upon arrival to help us adjust to elevation. When we returned after our evening out, there were snacks and water waiting for us. Enjoyed a night in the hot tub with my wife on the amazing deck. Breakfast was phenomenal and the dogs were so friendly! We will definitely stay again if are in the area! Thank you!
I reserved Rogers Inn The Pines for my family members that traveled here for my wedding. We were able to reserve the whole Inn...Buzz and Sandee made everything so easy! The Inn is so warm and welcoming, and my family couldn't say enough good things about their hosts.....my 5 yr old grandson couldn't wait to get "home" and tell Sandee all about his part in the wedding. Buzz and Sandee do a wonderful job of making their guests feel very pampered; thank you for making my family feel so special!
I took a long weekend outing for my birthday with these lovely hosts February 2016. I chose the Suffolk Room which was well-appointed with everything one would need. It even had interesting reading material from the owners' time in England. The bathroom had hairdryer, fluffy robes for use going to and from the hot tub, decorative homemade soaps, and the bedroom boasted a very comfortable mattress, soft linens, and fun themed decor. My dog was welcomed by the Rogers' pets, and pup Henri became a close friend of my spaniel. The food was fantastic, with the Scandinavian-recipe granola a big hit.The owners bent over backwards to make me welcome, and to be accommodating. The Rogers were even gracious to offer to have me go to dinner with them in town one evening. They are lovely gracious people who also tell good stories about their adventures and like making conversation. They have wine, beer and spirits available for an afternoon relaxation in their "pub." There are DVDs if you wish, and internet available. The setting is marvelous, in the forest. The winner for me which will have me coming back is their hot tub where you can look up into the sky through the trees at the moon and stars at eventide into the night. So perfect in February! All the rooms are truly lovely in my opinion as I was able to peek into them all on a tour before other guests arrived. You can't go wrong with an choice. If you don't wish stairs, I would recommend the Eulenbis & Kobenhavn rooms, or the Uppland Vasby if you don't mind only a shower in the bath. I might do a room without stairs next time, but I do like a soak in a nice bath. The Rogers have a gem in the Pines, and their B&B (built specifically as a B&B) is my favorite so far in sampling those in Colorado (I've tried 6). Highly recommended. I will be back.…
So glad I made the error of thinking Monument Valley Park (located in Colorado Springs) was in Monument and booked this B&B by mistake! What a unique and special accommodation and it was only 20 minutes to the Springs, also conveniently close to the AF Academy The setting in the pines is delightful with huge deck and hot tub. The food is superb and "pub" allows evening relaxation and drinks provided by the hosts. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the pub available for guest use. There are room options available if stairs are a problem. And what rooms they all are - most comfortable beds, spotless, attractive and interesting decor from around the world collected by Sandee and Buzz. These two individuals (and their dogs) have created a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Can't think of anything that they haven't thought of for your comfort but if there is all one has to do is ask.…
