Because of problems with another hotel we arrived in M.S. with no place to stay. El Colorado was able to accommodate us for 3 nights and worked very hard to find us room for the additional nights we were there. Nice quiet place, clean rooms with comfortable beds and deer just outside the door at times. Upon arriving back home...

The location of this property is very convenient to the Manitou Shopping, Old Colorado City, the Cog Train and the many other attractions of Manitou's area. I have to say it was great that we were able to find a place that had a room. We were not the smartest when it came to not making reservations on Father's day...

The place was clean and the lady in the front office even helped us get a smaller room so it could fit in our price range. We got to use the hot tub till late and it was awesome. If we have kids one day we will for sure bring them here. Pot smoking is allowed in the pavilion which...

We visited for just one night as a mini-vaca with our son - this cabin was 2 bedroom and perfect for us. Love the quirky, and I remember this hotel from when I was a kid and lived in this town, so it was fun to come back. Super nice person checked us in, and we got an actual KEY...

I've stayed here twice and love the old adobe style cabins. Perfectly located, cozy, reasonably priced. Nothing fancy, perfect if you want something private and unpretentious. Amenities are pretty basic, some cabins have kitchens and kiva fireplaces.

I didn't have a reservation and was travelling alone. Front desk clerk offered me a small room in the front section of the motel and assured me there would be no traffic noise (there wasn't). It was very tidy and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. TV with lots of stations. Conveniently located to...

Reasonable rates, clean rooms, comfortable arrangements. I really enjoyed the stay. Definitely not a fancy place, but I could stay here every time I visit. We love the fireplace and a parking space just outside of the door is nice.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Wonderful place to enjoy your family & friends. We stayed four nights and wish we were able to stay longer. Enjoyed the private patio with picnic table & grill. The deer came right up to us, and our dogs were very welcomed. Hope you get to stay here. We look forward to being here again.

Rooms are small but expected that when booked. Full kitchen was nice for breakfast and lunches on the go. The playground was an added bonus and kept the grandkids busy. Saw a doe and 2 fawns one morning.

We stayed at the El Colorado this past weekend and we had a blast! We were lucky to get a cabin since the place was packed. Our cabin was fresh and clean and the girls delivered the extra things we asked for right away with a smile on their faces. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This place actually heats...
