I always pick La Quinta first when traveling with a pet. This used to be very clean & kept up but in the past year maintenance has slipped & it is showing signs of wear & tear. We have stayed here many times and it's not as nice as in previous years. Pillows were terrible this past time.

Good place, generally. Room renovation is needed and it it now occurring. There was seemingly drilling noise which interfered with our afternoon nap. Tho we managed to get some rest anyway. The size and basic amenities of the room were good. I appreciated the light switch by the bed that controlled the room lamps and overhead light by the door. We gave up on Hampton Inn's and crossed our fingers and gave the ole La Quinta a shot. To our surprise, it was an excellent experience!! I guess like so many other hotels, you just have to hope they have been remodeled recently and this one looks like it has. Room was great and mattress was excellent. Service was great...
