Have been quite a few times and have found it excellent each time. We have found that outstanding food in a resort setting is somewhat rare but that is exactly what Ski Tip offers. Rather expensive but worth every penny. Can't wait to go back.
Friends invited us to dine with them at Ski Tip--our first and their fourth time. This place is old and charming. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The menu changes weekly as seasonal vegetables are available. We knew the 4 course fixed price...More
This review is really for the Ski Tip Grill, part of Ski Tip Lodge. The property is like a living museum of 19th century mountain living, and the owners were early pioneer in creating the local alpine ski industry. The food was fantastic; I had...More
We had read other reviews and were not disappointed. The ambiance, charm and excellent food and wine make for a magical evening in the Keystone area. The lodge looks charming but we just dined here. Perhaps we'll check into staying the next time we're at...More

Hi, I am interested in visiting Breckenridge during Christmas time thru new year (up to Jan 5th). What kind of price range is your hotel? I am not looking for something fancy, but clean and neat and comfortable and small is fine and hopefully not too remote and the driving in and out is manageable as I am from California. Thanks so much.

Breckenridge is about 15 miles from Keystone where the Ski Tip Lodge is. I would not select the Ski Tip for a Christmas Holiday, the Lodge is too small in MHO. I do not know the price of our room as it was a gift to us.
