We had made a week long reservation at another hotel. When we arrived, we realized the dates we made the reservation for were the week after we were actually going to be visiting. Our mistake, for sure. The person at the desk of this other hotel was courteous, but didn't try very hard to see if he could find availability for us on the correct dates in his hotel. He offered apologies, but that was it. So, we drove down the block to HGI & the person at the front desk had a room available for that night, but wasn't sure about the rest of our week long stay. She suggested that we speak with the manager, Christine, in the morning to see what she could do. Christine found us a room with a king bed & arranged a rollaway bed for our daughter. The bottom line was that Hilton Garden Inn appreciated our business & did everything they could to accommodate us. We always stay at Hilton Garden Inn when we travel. We deviated this time because we wanted extra room in a suite for a week long stay. Turns out we ended up right where we belonged. No regrets! Our daughter just moved to Colorado so we will be staying exclusively at this hotel going forward. Thank you again for taking a stressful situation & making it work out, even when you didn't have to. The only suggestion we have is concerning housekeeping. I know Covid restrictions are still in place, but it would be nice to have housekeeping come in a few times during a week long stay. That said, anything we asked for (towels, toilet paper, etc.) were given with a smile.…
Expected much more from this Hotel. Staff was very curious however whole other nearby Hotels offered full breakfast and bar options this Hotel said "due to lack of staffing " they were unable to offer even Morning Coffee. The rooms were outdated for the pricing. Hall Carpets were dirty with large stains. Elevators were not clean and were missing the "permits". My stay was 3 days, l was told there would be no housekeeping during my stay. ( unbelievable)
There are so many better option in this area for the same price or better. We went for a baseball tournament. The pool closed at 8pm which meant the boys couldn’t swim after the games which is a highlight of our trips. Also they are doing bag breakfast still while other hotel in the same area we have stayed have started back with full continental.
The staff here are phenomenal! They go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. My room was clean. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The bed and pillows are very comfy. I loved staying at this hotel!
Dirty bathrooms, very outdated rooms, toilet would not flush unless you stuck your hand in the tank to pull the chain up. Could not wait to leave first thing early in the morning. Yuck. Do not stay at this property, there are many more hotels in the area that have to be newer, updated and clean!
