This is the second time we stayed here in a month. What great place. The room are immaculate. The 100 year old hotel has charm. Will definitely stay here again. The first time we dined in the rapids restaurant. The food was delicious. You are walking distance to downtown.

Stayed in the Rapids Lodge room 1B while visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park area. Enjoyed the setting as we could hear the water from the river/creek rushing by the room. Room itself was very clean and updated with a fireplace and TV. The grocery stores have more limited hours than in a large town, so if planning on making...

This was my third time staying at Rapids Lodge. For my recent stay I was in the Twin Peaks cabin. It is a bit rustic, but that is part of the charm for me. It reminds me of going to the cabins in the woods of my childhood. It's not perfect, or luxurious but nostalgic. The price was right, and...

First, Grand Lake, Co, is just a delightful little town. In our travels, we love staying at unique places and this fit the bill perfectly. We chose not to stay in more updated condo section, but in the original Lodge. We stayed on the top floor in the Treehouse Suite, which fit 2 couples perfectly, with completely separate bedrooms &...

The sounds of a running river through an open window give a flavor of nature and the outdoors to a conveniently located lodge with homey Western decor. A sitting area made in room snacking pleasant; comfortable bed and functioning shower provide the basics needed. A short, easy drive to Rocky Mountain National Park's West entrance helps too.

We celebrated out 56th Anniversary with dinner at the rustic, but beautiful dining room. The food was absolutely superb, and the view so beautiful and relaxing. It would be fun to come back to stay sometime!

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Rapids Lodge. The Lodge has several unconnected buildings adjacent to the “North Inlet” river that flows into Grand Lake. The older building is a bit rustic but there is newer “condo” style lodging as well. We stayed in the building housing the downstairs restaurant adjacent to the river. The building is...

Rapids Lodge is in a lovely location and is managed by some great folks. We stayed in the 'historic' part, on the second floor. Room decor is rustic, which suits the place. But, the quality of sleep here for both nights was so bad, that I cannot give it more than two stars. Poor sleep quality due to: -Old, noisy,...

There are 3 cabins in addition to the lodge. We chose cabin #3 called" lone pine". It is small but lovely in it's own way. One bedroom, small but well equipped kitchen. Nice touches relating to pine theme throughout. Walking distance to town. Nice place for a couple. Historic as well. Loved the place!

Roomy accommodations in the suites-full kitchen, living room and bedroom. Good location walk to town. River runs through the back -can sit and listen and enjoy the serenity. Grand lake has many water activities and is only minutes from Rocky mountain National Park.
