The room was nice, very clean, and has a small fridge and microwave. Note that they do not have any breakfast at all, just coffee or tea in the lobby. We used the hot tub which was also very clean and they have plenty of towels available in the hot tub room. It's a short walk into the middle of... More

The Bighorn has comfortable beds and quiet rooms (with the windows closed). If you are looking someplace that is comfortable, clean, free internet, and you plan day trips around the area, the Bighorn is fine. Shops and restaurants are right down the street There isn't any room though for much lounging outside of the room. Always call before booking -... More

We stayed here as a last minute stop before our journey home so we could visit the park. Hotel fairly clean though dated. The clerk/ manager was not very friendly. Parking is very limited and tight. Was close to downtown stores and restaurants.

Last minute decision to stay in Grand Lake for the night. Accommodations were nice, rustic, and clean. Room had good size dressing area. It also had table, chairs, coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator.

We were able to get a room here at the last minute after pulling into town late in the afternoon. We liked the location as it is easy walking distance to the center of town and there's a soft ice cream shop right next door! The room was very clean and seemed to have been recently remodeled. One thing that... More

Last minute decision to stay in area. Been to RMNP and Estes Park before. Wanted to stay near lake and visit park again. Hotel not a Lodge. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Poor parking. Had to park across from hotel on street. Hotel parking full. Can't really say staff was friendly. However, we were not staying at hotel for... More

This is an older property that has been well cared for. Nothing fancy, but very clean. We had a large room with new carpeting. Micro, fridge, flat screen tv. Coffee maker with REAL coffee cups. Very good wifi. Very accommodating desk clerk/ manager. We've stayed here several different times when visiting Grand Lake. Location is a big plus: Park at... More

We booked and stayed here for the holiday weekend. They couldn't have been more helpful because we needed to change our reservation by one night. Room was big. Beds were alright. The nice thing is you can walk to downtown and to the lake if you want. We liked that a lot because traffic was terrible in town.

Decided to go to GL at the last minute so booked a room at the Bighorn Lodge. Granted, it is not a lodge, it is a motel, but it is clean, comfortable and staff is very friendly! If you don't have to have a view of the lake, and want to save some $$ for shopping, this may be the... More

Parking is VERY limited. After dinner we had to park off site even the two spots in front of the office were taken. However, someone had a boat in one of the parking spots. This should not be allowed. There should also be a limit of one parking spot per unit because there were more cars than people. The spaces... More
