We spent three nights here while visiting our son in nearby Arvada. We were very impressed with the hotel. The location is great, in the heart of downtown Golden with great scenery, and an easy walk to restaurants. The rooms are very nicely decorated and have great amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, windows that open for fresh air, a lighted magnifying make up mirror In the bathroom, comfortable bed, and linens. It was very clean and quiet, and had free underground parking, and reasonable rates. We didn’t have a chance to visit the restaurant in the hotel. There is a small fitness room. The only negatives are the bathroom is pretty small and there is no indoor pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean hotel in a great location, river next to hotel with paths for biking, walking, or just enjoying the day. Just a short walk to downtown and many restaurants. Bonus for restaurant with great views of river while dining.

Where to begin... let me start with Billie Lynn and the incredible rehearsal dinner she helped me plan for our son and daughter-in-law! We reserved the Mesa Room and our dinner was private and elegant and the finishing touches were beautiful! Stephanie, our server was knowledgeable, kind, and the food was delicious! Every one had a delightful time! Our suite faced the River with beautiful Mountain Views (see the photos of the evening views from our room) and it was wonderful with a spacious living room that included a kitchenette and a warm fireplace! Our bedroom was large with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. The staff at the hotel made us feel so welcome! We had such a nice time that this is going to be our “go to” place anyone we visit Golden!

We were thoroughly delighted during our Golden Hotel stay. From the moment we checked-in throughout our stay to check-out, the staff greeted and accommodated us in all ways possible. We especially enjoyed the view of Clear Creek out our suite window. Wonderful.

We were booked in a hotel that needed to evacuate due to wildfires. The agent on the phone chose for us to stay at the Golden Hotel instead. We were blown away! The hotel is unique and very welcoming. It’s location is ideal and the view from our room was gorgeous. Golden is a beautiful town! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and inviting. We wish we had stayed more than one night! We will be back for sure!
