Had a wonderful time in a beautiful location. The staff was friendly and the inn clean and cozy :) It truly is a hidden gem and a great escape from the busy world. If you like whiskey...make sure to have the friendly bartender make you the best Manhattan of your life!

We have visited the Sunlight several times over the last few years. We are kind of an "adventure family" and love being off the beaten path. This visit was absolutely the best! Jason is working really hard to get everything in shape and is doing a great job. The lodge has suffered under various managers over the last few years...

We went to the Sunlight Lodge to listen to some live local music last night and had a great time. You can tell that they are working on improvements bit by bit and it's getting better and better. The innkeeper Jason and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. The lounge has a small, but well stocked bar with surprisingly...

I visited the Sunlight Lodge last weekend when the Aspens were at their peak and had the most wonderful experience. This place is reminiscent of the ealy ski days, built in the late 1950's with it's rustic lodge feel and homey atmosphere. The innkeeper, Jason, was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel like family visiting. The breakfast was...

Beautiful setting.....but the lodge was very disappointing. Our room had lots of flies! Dead and alive. There were no screens in our room. There was packing tape used as trim in the bathroom that "sealed" the inch gap between our bathroom wall and the neighboring room. Bathtub is in bad shape. We stayed for 30 minutes and decided to find...

Happy to find this Sun Light lounge to enjoy the mountain scenery and the sound of the creek next to it. This is a treasure about 15 mins drive up the mountain from the city. The hosts are very hospitable and make us very welcome and upgrading the charming atmosphere of the hotel. Will definitely come back here for a...

Ignore any reviews more than a year old for the Sunlight Lodge. The new host is great and has made many improvements. The website for the Sunlight Lodge gives very little detail about the place so here are some pointers. Bring stuff to make for lunch each day. Lines at grill on the mountain can be long unless you eat...

Nice location on the mountain. great to be able to walk to the lifts. Good breakfast with the stay. The rooms are a bit tight and stripped down, but we were just there to sleep anyway. The new management (for the last few years now), is not as organized or "good" as the previous owners. They said they never got...
