We came to Hotel Colorado for a relaxing getaway. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk, Carol, was extremely nice and helpful. We stayed in the Roosevelt Suite and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our experience. We got room service and the food was delicious! There are restaurants and the hot springs that are walking...

We stayed here two weekends ago for a mother daughter get away. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the historic aspect was wonderful. However, the hallways had not been cleaned in what looked like months. There were dirty glasses on our floor and cobwebs everywhere. The wifi would not work at all so we ended up...

We treasure Hotel Colorado for its amazing wide hallways and stair cases. The 12-13 foot high ceilings! The beautiful breakfast patio and evening outdoor bar area! We had a lovely dinner at in their main dinning restaurant. The menu is unique with things you want to try verses the same stand bus you are offered at some many hotel restaurants....

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for your kind words. The historic aspect of the hotel is indeed great since they don't built them like this anymore. Our patio is indeed unique and one of the most intimate places to enjoy lunch or dinner right in the center of Glenwood Springs.

We had a two bedroom suite with 4 queens. Ceilings were 15feet high and bedrooms were big too. Hotel was a blast from the Teddy Roosevelt days past. (Big fan) Great dinner on patio and charming inexpensive breakfast. Go here! No AC but didn't need it.

I've been coming here for more than 30 years. It's best in the fall arriving by train, but this visit was smack dab high summer season. My review isn't about the crowds, but the sense of lazy maintenance I noticed. A bed sheet had visible wear and tear and some of the furnishings just looked overused. I love this place,...

Spent three nights at the hotel. If is a grand old hotel with alot of character. Ir could use some upgrades but then again it might distract from its charm. The staff was accommodating. There's lots to do including hot springs, biking, hiking, rafting and several eateries just across the river. There is some great history about hotel and pictures...

Okay, the bad first: there is no air conditioning, and road construction was going on outside our room all night long - until 6 am. Tough to sleep the two nights we were there. Because it is so old, I would imagine it's difficult to clean; there was dust build-up behind furniture and cob webs on ceiling. However, we really...

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us. We realize that the construction across the street can be cumbersome at time but as they say all improvements sometimes come with some pain. We are looking forward to the end result since it will make the area directly around the hotel beautiful. We realize that having fans and open windows attract...

This was my first visit. One of our rooms was not ready. We had asked that the second room be close by. No problem. When we finally got the room it was on the other side of the hotel. We were traveling with our teenage grandson. Then there was a wedding party that kept us up until late in the...

This really is a great piece of history. There is so much to learn about this magnificent building. I wish I had learned and known more while I was there.
