Great hotel in a great little town with amazing hot springs and restaurants. Love the lobby with fireplaces, couches and different hang zones. We skied Vail then popped over to Glenwood to soak and hang out. Great crystal shop in town too.

Love this hotel. Lots of history. Photos and antiques everywhere. If you are looking for a more quaint experience, this is the place. Short walk to everything. So many great restaurants. Can walk to the older hot springs or walk a little further (still less than a mile) to the new Iron Mountain hot springs.

Don't miss stopping in at the historical Hotel Colorado est 1893. Amazing atmosphere. Had a lovely breakfast of eggs Benedict and great breakfast potatoes. Staff were extremely hospitable and even came out with beautiful pancake/strawberry compote with candles singing happy birthday to my husband. Don't forget to look at the history pictures in the lobby and interesting pianos dating back...

When we learned that the hotel was closing for renovations, we just had to go one more time. We reserved the Roosevelt Suite, our favorite, for a mid-week mid- December stay. As usual, the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff is always attentive and friendly, the suite clean and well appointed. The Hotel Colorado is definitely the crown...

We recently stayed and this hotel continues to amaze me! I was even more elated to find out that they will be open throughout the ski season a long after too!! I had heard they were closing and renovating and potentially losing some of the history and traditions I love (like the Xmas decorations, which is a must to see!!)...

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of the city which is small but has a lot of things going on. The hotel is in walking distance of the Yampa spa and hot springs, local bar and shopping. This is an upscale hotel with a very pretty ambiance and upper class dinning but not over priced. We received...

I was here with my church for our annual Women's Retreat, and I was immediately taken back in time when I walked thru the doors! It looks like it's right out of the pages of a magazine, or newspaper from the past! I could not stop looking around, and reading all the interesting pictures and admiring the amazing classical decor!...

I loved the historic charm of this hotel making one feel like you stepped back in time. Our room on the third floor was huge, a living room, bedroom, large bath with walk in closet. Furnishings were tired but room was clean. Period photos decorated the walls. The staff we encountered were friendly and worked hard to please. The food...
