We had the best vacation in a long time at the Hotel Colorado over Thanksgiving. So many wonderful staff! Jon picked us up at train station and provided a long list of ideas for our stay. Lynne was really wonderful gracefully and quickly fixed our reservation mix up and helped us get to our beautiful rooms quickly. Nick drove us...

We were looking for pie on Thanksgiving night. We'd dined earlier in the day. The big buffet was still underway in the hotel and the bar was full. Paul, Director of Food and Beverage, seated us at a table and soon returned with a platter of a variety of slices of pie. Better than being at home. There is something...

Great staff, from maintenance to the bartenders and supervisors!!! The atmosphere is incredible as the ambiance of the season fills the rooms, lobbies and hallway! We are here for business and never expected such an amazing place! Thank you!

We came just before Thanksgiving and the staff was busy decorating the grand lobby with its two fireplaces and every other section of this historic (and nicely haunted) gem built in 1889. The staff was fabulous. Some of the food was excellent. Our room was comfortable though not modern. We soaked in atmosphere, walked down to the famous Glenwood Springs...

We were excited to stay at the Hotel Colorado due to the wonderful history it boasts, the proximity to the hot springs, and the 'haunted' stories. Unfortunately, it seems that this hotel is still running on past stories of grandeur, because that is not a word I would use to describe it's current state. Although most of the staff are...

The most wonderfully relaxing stay and fantastic staff!!! We have no complaints about the food as others have. But keep in mind this is a historic hotel with all the antique charm. The heating is radiator, so yes it gets hot and cool. It is very obvious that this beautiful hotel needs some love and updating. The rooms could be...

OK, I was under impression that I was booking a luxurious historical hotel. To my surprise, it looked like an old haunted lodge with rooms looking so awful, I almost went to another hotel without refund, but was too tired. I get the fact that it is a historical hotel with old furniture and overall feel, but it is so...

I'm not sure where to start with my experience. Before I begin, I need to say the staff did the best they could under the conditions they work in. I arrived at the hotel at 3:00 PM and was told the room was not ready and to come back in an hour. I arrived back at 4:30 PM and was...

The Hotel Colorado is worth staying at just because of its history of hosting Teddy Roosevelt and the story of the "Teddy Bear". Given the age of the hotel there are no modern amenities as other reviewers have noted. I found 2 electrical outlets in our room used for the lamp and TV....thus no coffee maker or fridge. The proximity...

It was a nice place to go. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. A great historic place to visit our stay in. The hotel has a great front sitting area and is just a stone throw away from the world famous hot spring.
