Excellent value. Room perfect for my needs though some may find a little old fashioned. Bathroom en suite and shower great which for me is really important. Breakfast very good and freshly cooked. The sausages were burnt the first morning so not served and I got double the next morning!! Very quiet location and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

A really great experience staying at the Leys House for 5 days on our visit to my folks' old village during our holiday to UK from Cape Town. Comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean accommodation, great breakfast and a short walk to canal and The Boat with good pub food. But what made our stay so special was the caring and helpful...

Stayed here for one night during an End to End cycle ride. Didn't get to meet the owners but their employee/associate was very helpful and came back in the morning to cook breakfast. Beautiful setting near the canal with a good pub nearby.

We booked Leys House for two nights and, as we were travelling with our 6month old son, we took care choosing accommodation that would have the facilities we needed. From reading previous reviews I can only surmise that the owner has lost interest in the business because we encountered several avoidable problems which made the experience quite stressful. We booked...

I stayed at The Leys House for a week while attending a training programme at Rodbaston College near Penkridge. Diana was a warm and welcoming host with great integrity. I had a bright, peaceful twin room with spacious ensuite and a lovely view of the countryside and village beyond. Breakfast was superb, including delicious fresh fruit salad, homemade granola and...

Wonderfully clean, amazing hospitable host and comfortable stay with everything we could have wished for including a selection of drinks and biscuits in the room and fluffy bathrobes. The breakfast was amazing too!

I had lived in Gnosall almost 50 years ago. I spent sevearl hours walking around the place. It had grown beyond recognition. I particularly liked the canal, the old railway line converted into a pathway/cycle track and the boardwalk across the wetlands. Leys House was just over the canal and I was made welcome with a cup of tea. As...

We received a very warm welcome at Leys House this weekend. I stayed with my husband and 2 kids aged 11 and 13 and we found the rooms spacious, the beds were very comfy and the showers very powerful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and there was plenty to eat. We'd gladly come back if we are passing...
