Stayed here Sat night after a birthday trip on the Royal Gorge Railroad and some antique shopping. Florence boasts of two things: being the antique capital of CO and home of the famous and largest super max prison in the US (well outside town). I'll brag about a third: Bob and Barb taught us all the sites (see Bishop Castle...

We had a very special experience at the Florence Rose, in Florence, Colorado. The breakfast was delicious and we got a tour of the entire house and grounds, which was very interesting and informative. We have already referred them to some of our friends.

A quick getaway for an event in Florence. Wow, a great place, well restored and decorated with lots of local history. Bob and Barb were like old friends within minutes. Enjoyed our privacy and a late night soak in the outdoor hot tub!!

My husband and I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday. I don't think we could add any more compliments than what has been written by previous guests. All of the comments are true and everyone should check this wonderful old home out and enjoy the wonderful hosts Bob and Barb and the sweet resident pooch Penny. You won't be...

We had our own lovely private cottage. The bed was very comfortable and it was so peaceful. We took a walk around the grounds and watched the sunset. Breakfast was fresh fruit, the very best I have ever had at any B&B with french toast. Again the very best I have every had! Wish we had more time to sit...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed with Bob and Barb and could not be more pleased! We stayed for 3 days in the private garden room. The place is well kept and lovely. Bob and Barb are kind, welcoming hosts. They are happy to chat or leave you alone, whatever you prefer! Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed...

Loved it! My daughter and I stayed in the Yvonne suite last night and had a splendid stay. So much nicer to stay in a boutique and unique B&B like this rather than a faceless chain hotel. Bob and Barb (and Penny!) are great hosts, and we were super-comfortable. Also had an outstanding (in terms of both value and taste!)...

A fabulous stay with fabulous hosts, accommodations and food. Bob and Barb helped make our 25th Anniversary trip truly a memorable weekend. Their lovely B & B is a must stay when visiting the Royal Gorge area.

The Florence Rose B&B was absolutely charming! The proprietors, Barb & Bob, were friendly, attentive and gracious. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was superlative. Bring your swimsuit; there's a great hot tub out back! Also, plan to dine at Le Petit Chablis in town - delicious French cuisine.
