My husband and I have stayed at the Bears Inn a couple of times. Both times we enjoyed a very quite, cozy atmosphere. This year we celebrated our anniversary at the Inn. Pete was our host and we couldn't say enough wonderful things about his hospitality. The Inn itself, is beautiful, clean and I mentioned "home away from home" feel. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace, taking a dip in the hot tub...gazing up at the clear Colorado sky full of stars and moon too. Our breakfast was awesome food and conversation. Our only complaint is that Pete didn't provide us with a blizzard to snow us in! Thank you for helping us ring in our 24th year of marriage! God Bless you!
My husband and I were looking for a quick overnight getaway from Denver and stumbled upon the Bears Inn. The place is adorable with a 90 year history in the area. The room was very comfortable and the hot tub has a beautiful view. But best of all are the owners! Pete and Wendy are extremely kind and accommodating, obviously pouring a lot of love into the property. The food was incredible and I think we ate our weight in the fresh baked cookies. We highly recommend this spot and definitely plan to return.
Pete and Wendy made my stay at Bears Inn incredible! They create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere at Bears Inn! From the moment I arrived, I felt personally welcomed. My room, Nantucket, was inviting and spotlessly clean, the backyard hot tub was fantastic! In the morning, we all enjoyed a delicious multi-course breakfast. As I was on a business trip to Evergreen, and needed to leave early for work, I inquired about having an earlier breakfast. Pete and Wendy cheerfully accommodated my request for breakfast to be served an hour earlier. I felt honored during my stay at Bears Inn! I definitely would not hesitate to stay there again, it's the best small town Bed and Breakfast I've stayed at!
Our gorgeous room had the most comfortable bed, a patio, and close parking reserved for us. We were visited by deer and elk. Our favorite spot at Bears Inn was the covered outdoor breakfast area where we also relaxed in the evening for drinks. Every foot of the Inn is designed to be comfortable and charming. Can’t wait to come back for another visit.
This little place is right outside of downtown, tucked into the Mts. Wendy and Peter are awesome hosts. Breakfast was epic as were the rooms, hot tub and common areas. Everything was great, including the classy restaurant next door, and were definitely going back!!
