This was a neat little old hotel cute. Went for the weekend anniversary, if you stay over night on Friday be prepared to stay up to listen to the band it was very loud in out room no sleeping till will happen until they are done playing. And notes posted no refunds giving because of noise would have been nice... More

I have known the Brook Forest Inn and surrounding area since 1965. Back in those days the Inn was run down and only the bar in the building was open for drinks, some food and live music on occasion. I had heard and seen bits of history of the area and was fascinated by this old but beautiful structure. When... More

First, the positives: This is a beautiful location with a creek running through the property. We sat outside at a table overlooking the creek to eat a late lunch. This was a very enjoyable experience after coming from Texas heat where you can barely walk outside to the car let alone eat outside. The public areas of the inn are... More

DO NOT COME here unless you want to waste your money. We paid for a room we didn't stay in overnight because our experience was so terrible. Staff was inexperienced, didn't know how to work the computer system, failed to mention there would be NO CELL PHONE SERVICE, gave us a fake wifi network-which we were obviously not able to... More

We've been there before for fine dining which was excellent (former 20 year Evergreen residents), but this was our first time as hotel guests, coming back to Evergreen to visit. Very nice antique furnishings, loved listening to the sound of the creek from our lovely third floor room - the DeGoya. The bathroom was small but adequate, just what we... More

Where to begin, service was horrible, table was dirty, didn't get utensils or napkins (had to ask). Had the Deep Belgian waffle (egg-o). Got charged $7.00 for two eggs and $1.50 for one. Waitress had no idea why. And there is more, but am not going there. Too much! Beautiful setting and the Bloody Mary's were good. That's about it.... More

Stayed there while visiting for a concert at Red Rocks. Flight was way late, bartender stayed to wait for us. Amazing service for that. Room was adequate; small but that's what you'd expect from a historical hotel. Breakfast was a disappointment. plastic containers of sweet rolls, some juice and coffee, that's it. Ate in Evergreen where prices were reasonable and... More

Brought an out of town guest for what I hoped would be a lovely Brunch. An ad in Serenity Magazine advertised that Brunch was back and included a coupon for a free Mimosa with an entree purchase. I made reservations. Upon arrival they could not locate it. No worries, the place was empty. My guest ordered eggs and corned beef... More

We first entered late after the restaurant was closed. We did not ask for food, but the owner offered to go into the kitchen and cook us some burgers. The building's history is very authentic. Its a bit out of the way of a town, but that in its self suites its character.
