We booked two rooms; one with a bathtub and one twin room. Neither was available upon arrival. Instead, we had to make do with two small 1.5 person beds. It was freezingly cold inside the room, that rarely happens. There was mold in the bathroom as well. This hotel could use a large upgrade! Two stars because the included breakfast...

Well, to be honest, it was a nice package deal, it was conveniently close to Groningen, but the pros can not weigh up against the cons. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom, but the hotel absolutely needs a serious overall clean up. (yes, management, don't forget the cobweb-clusters over the lights in the corridors).

Maintenance, maintenance and maintenance..... Despite a very competitive package deal for the weekend, we all left, after our stay, with the same feeling: never again! This place looks, next to a BP gasoline station, very poor on the outside: when was the last time you (Management!) cleaned the building? or re-painteted it? To make it look fresh and welcoming! The...

Hotel a bit tired but for the money ok. Staff helpful and let us park up bikes on raised terrace out of the way. Bit of a walk to the station for train to Assen. Could do with tea and coffee making facilities in rooms.

The Postillion is just off the freeway to Groningen but in a quiet village across the street from fields full of cows, a stork nest, yellow Dutch iris by the canal.... We heard birds singing through our open window from dawn to dark in May. We never heard the freeway. We always choose the top floor in the tower. We...

Our room, 114, had large stains on the carpet but was otherwise clean. Also the restaurant had major stains on the carpet. We stayed three days and had dinner in the restaurant once. The food was good. Portions were small and the wine suggestions expensive. From the outside the place looks 60s-70s vintage. Our room had single-pane glazing. Rarely have...

We stayed in the hotel only for one night, I would say average quality. we paid 73e for one night for a double room with double bed, for me is a bit expensive that that service. Btw I can suggest this hotel to other travel, if you look for an hotel just to sleep is good enough.

Horrible experience - old and dirty accomodation - stained carpets - rotten curtains - not even a toilet brush available - the worst is the bed - cardboard like walls with no insulation whatsoever - inch 1990 TV set with merely 20 worthless stations. I would recommend anyone to stay away from that place. The only good thing is the...

Compact room & bathroom. The decor of the bathroom is somewhat dated. The bed is good and it's nice that you can choose a queen size mattress in stead of 2 single beds. Breakfast is very good, quality products, nice array to choose from.
