Awesome little hotel with very nice owners. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the room had nice, clean beds with wonderful fluffy blankets. The hotel also had a deal going on with Purgatory Ski that allowed us a free night! Will definitely be back here soon!

Thank you very much! We've really enjoyed meeting and talking with such wonderful people that have stayed with us. It's been fun to have the ski crowd here too, being on the northern most edge of Durango places us conveniently close to Purgatory Ski! And during summer months they also have the Alpine slide, scenic chairlift, Purgatory plunge Zipline and...

We had never stayed at a Knights Inn before. My wife read the trip advisor reviews of hotels in Durango and this property was highly recommended by many people. We stayed there for a week and we were not disappointed. This is not a large hotel and is an older property but, it is well maintained and the new owner...

Thank you for consulting Tripadvisor guest reviews it's a great resource for travelers, glad we didn't disappoint! We're out there remodeling rooms currently, painting, updated lighting, new draperies are ordered and some rooms now have tile flooring and I'm working on getting pics from the Museum here for our rooms. So the next time you come through Durango we will...

This was a cosy little place, and the owners were very friendly with great tips on things to see in the nearby area. It was fantastic value, and a very clean accommodation with extras like microwave, fridge and even a USB charging dock

My husband and I stayed on the 20th of Jan. We were traveling from Texas and got stuck in the winter storm causing us to arrive late. The owner was very accommodating and let us have a late check in after the office was closed. The room was very cozy and clean! The next morning I had to go to...

Wonderful, we appreciate the review and knowing that you enjoyed your stay... and it's STILL snowing here! It's beautiful but difficult and stressful for tavelers coming through the area, glad you found your room clean and cozy as promised. It feels good to walk into an establishment that is warm and inviting, we want our guests to feel appreciated and...

Yes, I am a trip advisor follower and have never been led astray..... But I had never stayed at a knights inn, till Durango. ...! this was by far a true great surprise. The new owners have 100 % turned this property around. Clean, updated, nice little breakfast and a great mattress and a owner that is friendly and will...

We're glad you didn't just drive on by too. We sincerely appreciate your giving us a chance to prove the tripadvisor guest ratings were true and accurate. We're a small motel but pride ourselves in being personable, interactive, helpful and very clean with simple but valued amenities. It's a bit of a struggle to come up toe to toe with...

Initially booked this place based on the past reviews, proximity to Purgatory ski resort (they are on the north end of town) and the price. Could not figure out why such a highly rated place was half the price of almost all of the other motels in Durango. They have found a real niche here. The room was great, we...

Thank you! We appreciate your staying here, we've really enjoyed interacting with the ski crowd. We are trying hard to make a niche for ourselves, make us different and stand out from others. So we offer really clean and comfortable rooms, personable courteous service while being budget friendly. We agree and you are absolutely right. We've intended to pursue the...

This place was awesome. It's a knights inn, so our expectations were not super high as we are very realistic travelers and we prefer to spend less so we can travel more. But, to our surprise this place was a knockout! Very clean room with comfy bed, plenty of towels, and a shower head that lit up which was honestly...

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to surprise you! We consistently get comments about the shower heads.. we wanted to have guests start their day with a smile. We've gotten several people that have booked because we're on the north end of Durango and fairly close to Purgatory Ski. We're within city limits and close to various food choices.. there's...

We booked the room on the way into town and arrived just after the snow started falling and the sun had set. We found the property very easily and found the rooms to be wonderful. It is an older property, but everything has been renovated and freshened up; nice bed, new linens, flat screen TV (40"+). We enjoyed a very...

Thank you, we appreciate your staying with us. Not everything has been renovated yet.. but we're working hard to get it done. We have updated every room with new beds, linens, towels, pillows, 40" to 48" TVs, exceptional wifi and HBO & power ports. New draperies are ordered and we're searching for newer furnishings. Our greatest pleasure is making sure...

I was really blown away by this hotel. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. He noted our special requests and went over our options, and seemed genuinely pleased to be of assistance. Our room was absolutely spotless and included extra towels for cleaning messes and makeup. The room was spacious and the bed was...

Wonderful! That would be Jordan at the front desk, he IS stellar! We appreciate him so much, we know guests will be taken care of in the best way possible. All of us are working diligently to get the rooms updated and renovated. Starting March work on the highway will begin to add bike lanes at the north end of...

I am so glad I listened to the reviews and stayed here. One of the best places we stayed on our trip. Cleanest by far. I was concerned at check in cause no elevator and we were on second floor. Thank you, we're glad you listened to the reviews too. We will be getting a luggage elevator at a future date.. room renovations are our first priority. Until that happens we are more than happy to help guest carry up luggage and give tips as to what Durango offers. We want your memories while here to be happy ones. We...
