Visited in August and first part of September. Very nice and clean. Fun summer activities including zip lining, panning for gold, bungee jumping, bands, great hiking. Twenty two miles to Silverton and about twenty miles to Durango. Restaurants are okay.

Durango is one of my favorite places ever. The ski and lodge is the best with helpful staff and luxury views. I highly recommend this place for all ages. It will for sure be a repeat place to go once you have been there. I cant wait to go back myself.

I visited purgatory Lodge for a fall wedding. The ceremony site was on top of a mountain and even though it was off season, the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Purgys restaurant was where the reception was hosted and the rooms were clean and cozy.

Clean. Quiet. Economical. Off season lodging close to Durango. Hot tub and Pool pretty much all to ourselves. Beautiful mountain setting. Courteous staff. On the way from Durango to Ouray and near beautiful Red Mountain Pass and the Durango - Silverthorn Rail tour.

It was beautiful the room was so pretty & the bed was really comfy , plus the shower was to die for! We went in the off season so the restaurants weren't open & we went with friends & ended up in complete different complexes( like down the road from each other) so if you go with other people, make... Absolutely beautiful home with breathtaking views. However, the house has not been cared for in the way you would expect from such a high dollar property. The garage floor was absolutely filthy, the floor was sticky from spills that were not cleaned up and had piles of dirt swept into the middle of the floor and left. Impossible not to... More

My husband and I stayed here in late August, with some trepidation, due to mixed reviews; but I had seen the facility before and knew it was lovely, in a lovely setting. We were visiting my mom in Durango, about 30 min away. We had always stayed in town, but it was expensive and noisy, so I decided to try... More

Wonderful slope-side in winter, moutain-view year round condo lodging. Daughter and mom on a see-the-state drive, a lovely 2-bedroom condo awaited us after a long drive. Great use of AmExp points for a splurge! We found ourselves enjoying a star-studded sky in a roof-top hot tub, all to ourselves on an August evening. Stunning mountains all around. Quiet, almost 'old-Colorado... More

I booked this property on Booking.com. The pictures looks great - a condo with a kitchen. I thought this is what I booked. To my dismay, it turned out to be a hotel room. We were looking for a place where we could prepare our own meals (considering the lack of healthy options nearby), and ended up in a room... More
