This is the only campground on the Durango and Silverton Railroad and the Animas River also runs nearby to make viewing from our big window very enjoyable. I swore I would never again stay here even as much as I like seeing the trains run through because the internet ranged from nonexistent to hopeful. Wife prevailed upon me so I...

As mentioned in other reviews roads and sites are gravel I did have to use leveling blocks to get level. The sewer connection for your site is at the back of the site, so take this in to account or you may level twice! I did! Full hookup, no problems.the bath house was clean, although a bit dated. Didn't try...

Sites are fairly level and spacing is about average for an rv park in a tourist area. Roads and pads are gravel, with some grass in between sites. Sites are not extremely long, but will accommodate TT's 5'rs and motor homes. Hookups worked good, but no cable. Some sites are satellite friendly and others not so much. Over the air...

We enjoyed our stay at United. We relaxed for two nights before heading out back to Colorado. They closed for the season the days we left. The Silverton & Durango trains passed right in front of our rig in the morning and late afternoon. Got some great pictures. Getting in and out from the road was close but easy enough.

We've stayed here multiple times from 1-4 nights. Very clean bathrooms though a bit dated. Swimming pool in the summer can sometimes be crowded with children. They keep the grounds very neat and groomed. Usually stay in site 64 which is a back-in but our camper view is from the back. The site is a bit unlevel but not bad....

We were told by the owner of the camp that they had great Wifi twice, once when I called to see if they had any openings and again at check-in. I had not been in touch with my family for a week and really was looking forward to using Wifi to check in so I was REALLY disappointed. I just...

We spent 2 days with our RV at this campground. The grounds are perfectly clean, not 1 weed in sight. The showers and laundry room also very clean. The view is beautiful, lots of grass, the river and the Silverton/Durango train coming through the property. We loved the sound of the train whistle. Our RV site was shady and quite....

First impression is that the campers will be too close, but it really wasnt a problem. There's a large apartment complex next to the campground. Met some really nice campers here. Restrooms and showers clean. We occupied a pull through site with full hook ups. We were in a 38' RV so making the turn into the campground from town...

Moved to United Campground after spending one night at the RV park just to the north. Immediately, wished we had started at United Campground for the following reasons. First, the Durango trolley (.50 over 60yrs and $1 otherwise) stops right by entrance. Second, the laundry was half the price and the showers were good and clean. Our site was shady...
