I have stayed at DRC the last two years and have booked for 2017 for good reason the park is perfect for any length of stay. I, like most prefer, if not require; clean, well maintained and managed property that offers sites with shade and grass. DRC has it all.

We visited the DRC mid-October. We had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and the facilities were very clean. The general store was well equipped (they can even fill propane tanks) and had a nice selection of gift items. The clubhouse is the perfect place for events. We stayed in the tent camping section. It was well... More

We stayed here in early October and absolutely love it. Full hookups, w/clean spacious campsites; some sites backup to a catch release stock pond, but all sites and only steps away from the river. This is an excellent choice for those who wish to explore south western CO. The owner/operators are very pleasant people and seem well suited to the... More

Right on the Dolores river, beautiful scenery. Large concrete pads, easy drive through. Pet friendly with large walking areas. About 20 miles north of Cortez where there is a Walmart. Drive to Mesa Verda and see the cave dwellings, on to Durango and take the train up to Silverton. Excellent location, close to everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely... More

fishing in your backyard, nice showers and clean. Friendly camp host and family. The campground was well marked and many benches and chairs to sit in around the area. We caught our dinner after arriving.

We were needing a recharge and reset after several days of dry camping and this was just the ticket. Beautiful setting, spacious sites, well maintained and clean facilities. Did I mention friendly and helpful management?

...is the proxity to Durango, Telluride, Mancos and Cortez. The "cabin" we were assigned was not a cabin but part of a triplex which means you can hear your neighbors on both sides, although the campground is very quiet after 10pm. This "cabin" sits right on one of the main roads and is not at all isolated, but, that is... More

We have made Dolores River Campground an annual get away trip from the desert heat of Arizona. The campground owners and staff are always very friendly and helpful. The campground itself is very well maintained and located near many activites. We shall return next year.
