Traveled to Denver on business. Arrived late, and had a quick effortless check in. Kado ithe best! Having worked in the hotel industry years ago, I still pay careful attention to amenities and service. This is not the best hotel stay I've had, but the rooms were clean, the food was hot, and the coffee was plentiful. Most important, the front desk were super helpful. Great value to be had here.

Lovely, clean room with a great view. Checkin/checkout was effortless, Jasmine at the front desk was so helpful! I requested early checkin and it made all the difference in our stay. Despite the high-volume of NYE weekend, staff were very kind and professional.

The room was very standard, but practical and clean. However, the room was extremely cold and there appears to have been a problem with heating. The breakfast area was so cold that I had to wear a hat and jacket. I was told that they would reimburse the costs due to cold rooms, but did not get anything until I reminded them after the trip twice.

The Holiday Inn needed small upgrades and one morning the burner stopped working. However, the hotel staff were one of the best customer oriented staff we have ever experienced.Robert, the front desk supervisor, was every time we passed by looking to make our stay most pleasant. When we felt a little cold in our room, they immediately provided us with a small space heater that kept us most comfortable. Ray in engineering also several times fixed some small things in our room, coming immediately. The complimentary breakfast was stellar, amiably provided by Alton. The room was also reasonably priced in easy walking distance of all the other hotels downtown. When we all had to leave while the burner was fixed, just before the end of our stay, the hotel generously helped us with a bonus and helped pay for a taxi for us to stay at another hotel. I was attending a conference for the weekend and wasn't in the greatest physical health. I recently pulled my back the week before. As part of my physical therapy, I do a nightly soak to relieve my back pain. When I checked in, I realized my room had no bathtub. I went down to the reservation desk to ask if I could get a room with a bathtub. Not only did the young lady help me find a room, but she was also kind and very thoughtful in helping me with my accommodation and upgrading my room. I cannot tell you what a relief it gave me and made my entire trip! I want to thank Kennedy for really listening to me and helping me when all I wanted to do was relax and get better through a very long weekend. Kennedy is the example of exceptional customer service that all hotels should uphold. I was very grateful for her going 'above and beyond' to help an injured lady get through an active conference. This hotel is unreliable. I arrived at 130 am and they had canceled my reservation without any prior notification. They put me in a hotel 8 miles away and I had to attend a conference and take a taxi when I was planning to walk to it prior to the relocation.

We absolutely love this hotel! Located near everything we wanted to see and do, except visit the mountains, which we did by walking 17 minutes to Union Station to meet our tour guides. The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast each morning(included) was the best ever!

First, no problems with the AC. I like my room cold, and I got the room to a quite comfortable temperature. Staff is excellent and friendly…, from a warm greeting at check in through the entire stay. Rooms are typical Holiday Inn Express. My bathroom was European small, with the toilet at a weird angle to fit in. But I also had a nice oversized shower. Trade offs and it all came out just fine. HIX breakfast was typical as you would expect. Everything was hot, clean, and well stocked. Same here… the staff were friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again.

Kingdom 2028 Totally surprised, Best stay for us Review of Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown, an IHG Hotel Pending review Before we arrived I read some reviews and was a little concerned I had booked this hotel. The reviews had not been great. Our time in the US was divided into 4 hotels and this was our last stay for 3 nights. One of the hotels we stayed in was a very prestigious hotel costing 4 times as much as we paid for the Holiday Inn and I can say was more impressed with the cleanliness and value of the Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown. We arrived and I asked if we could be on a high floor for the view and we were then given a room on 21st floor. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Everyday we had housekeeping all the other hotels used the 'we are short-staffed so housekeeping is not provided daily quote'. Breakfast was lovely and staff were visible to assist and keep everything topped up. I loved the biscuits and gravy as this was something I wanted to try coming from UK and this was the only hotel that provided us this. My husband really enjoyed the gym too. All the hotels in US we found seem to use much unnecessary single use plastic such as plastic cutlery which are thrown away. More recycling needed! However the Holiday inn does use refillable Dove toiletries in the shower rather than the little complimentary toiletry bottles that other hotels use that are a complete waste of plastic so well done on this too. On checkout I told the staff member whom then turned out to be the manager our feelings on how impressed we had been and it then transpired she explained that she had been sent in 6 months ago to improve standards, well done I say totally good job…
