The renaissance denver downtown city center is by far my favorite place to stay! I love the wonderful staff as well as the valet which were extremely helpful during my whole stay! Hass the valet guy was amazing, so kind and helpful, thank you so much Hass! 10/10 definitely recommend.
I am a very frequent traveler and am impressed with many aspects of my recent stay. What most stands out to me about the hotel is the attention to detail and the friendly, thoughtful and personal service I received. I spoke with the Front Office Manager, Andrea Coster, before my arrival about my concerns, including having a quiet room. Not only did Andrea ensure that my request was met, she went above and beyond and left a welcome note and an unexpected and much-appreciated gift of a bottle of Prosecco. My room was quiet and comfortable and the AC was worked well. My only suggestion would be being better lighting in the room to brighten things up a bit. The hotel is located in the historic Colorado National Bank and the lobby is a wonderful combination of elegance and contemporary decor. It is within walking distance of great restaurants and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. I love that there is a parking garage adjacent to the hotel which makes it convenient (and more affordable) to get in and out of downtown Denver quickly. We enjoyed breakfast on a mezzanine overlooking the lobby. The selection was varied and the service attentive and friendly. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and I have already booked rooms for my next trip to Denver.…
Amazing hotel with amazing customer services, especially from Hass in valet! Hass is a phenomenal worker, gave great recommendations on where to eat, and always had our vehicle available quick! Will definitely be back to this hotel because of Hass!
Had a long-made one-night reservation, and then had to add another night within a day of arrival. It took way too long on the Rennaissance phone line to get this communicated and arranged. Tried to do it with the hotel, but they just switched me to Reservations Central, no way around that. And when showing up, there my first night, the one I'd just reserved, was all set and taken care of, easy, but they couldn't find anything on the reservation I'd made months ago for the next evening. I had to provide info and paperwork, and eventually it was sorted out. Stayed on a Sunday and Monday evenings, and the hotel was not crowded at all--easy and quiet. The hotel is easy to find and quite thankfully there is a large apron, pullover area in which to park your vehicle for disembarking and luggage. Front door staff were super-helpul and took care of our belongings quickly and efficiently. The offer valet parking or you can park yourself. There is parking nearby in garages, but the valet was a much easier/smarter option, even with the additional cost. Valet staff were helpful and quick. Check-in was easy and fast, and up to the room. As this is a converted bank building, the hallways are a little circuitious, so there was a bit of wandering. The good news about this was that we were just about as far as we could get from the elevator lobby and a particularly noisy ice machine. The hallways were very quiet, and we saw no other guests in the halls while there. The first night we arrived late and ordered room service, which thankfully came directly from the hotel restaurant. It was real food, not awful room service grub, and it was fantastic. We went with the brussels sprouts, cheezburger, and cheese plate, and all were very well done, well put together, cooked right, with good portions. This was very welcome. I asked for an additonal luggage rack, which arrived quickly. The room was spacious, with a big closet and big bathroom. Coffee service and a small fridge. TV was big, with a responsive and quick remote. We got the club-level option, which was a good choice. That was good for two bar drinks/night from the lobby bar. Thankfully I was able to immediately cash in all four for 4 canned beers, and got a bag to carry them in as well. Club-level breakfast is not lavish but got the job done wonderfully, with eggs, potatoes, and meat, along with house-made green salsa and a nice selection of hot sauces. All of the other amenities are there, too--good breakfast in a nice setting overlooking the lobby, with helpful staff. We had to depart early-early for a morning fligh to the East Coast, and valet service does not open that early. No problem, as the overnight front desk folks took immediate care of that for us, so we essentially did not wait at all. Bottom Line: this was a nice place, quiet and providing everything we were looking for. The staff took good care of us. Would not hesitate to stay here again.…
This hotel is so beautiful with Denver history, modern decor, friendly staff! The bar and restaurant are both outstanding! Theresa Gibbs is the manager and she is an absolute gem! The rooms are updated and fresh. The location is downtown Denver in the heart of everything ! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!
Great great hotel! Superb service and they even make up your room. Great bed and sheets (fitted too) Good bar scene and good service from Matt Nice restaurant and good service there too from Paul and Trey Will return and I do recommend this Renaissance
We recently had a group reunion at Renaissance Denver Downtown. Breda Mccambridge and her manager were very accommodating to our requests. The hotel luxury was beyond our expectation and the meeting room allowed our group to interact and mingle. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property beautiful. The location was suitable to restaurants (walking distance). All in all a great experience for our group!!
Perfect location to downtown, walking distance to dinning and city. Beware, DEN after dark becomes sketchy. You’ll find the hotel perfect with concierge lounge, clean rooms and nice bar. Nice option for needs that take you downtown DEN - enjoy
Had suite availability when I booked. Suite nights failed. Hotel didn’t upgrade. Now I’m stuck in a sized room for a week. Check in experience was weak. Girl behind the ambassador desk didn’t see line behind main desk. Not a good place to stay if you have status.
The hotel is a wonderfully converted bank building in downtown Denver surrounded by beautiful mountains. The lobby, as has been noted in other reviews, is stunning. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable but a little small. There is no self-parking at the hotel so you must use valet at a cost of $59 per night, plus tips. Room service is daily (so rare now-a-days)! Though no fault of the hotel, its a shame you can't enjoy a walk around the City without confronting serious drug addiction and mental illness. Being downtown, you almost can not leave the hotel without being confronted by the afore-mentioned. Again, this is no fault of the hotel, so its a good thing the hotel is so pleasant and makes you want to stay within its safety (Did I mention that security features of the hotel seem pretty good?). That said, I found the staff helpful and accommodating. Breakfast at the club level is wonderful. I want to specifically mention Mary Vialpando, the Food and Beverage Manager, who I had significant interaction this week and is beyond pleasant and accommodating. If you have business in Denver or need a special event, you simply MUST contact her. She will bend over backwards to assist you and does so with a humble smile. To my friends at Marriot Corporate, Mary is a keeper. Do what you must to keep her with the Marriot brand because I am a business owner myself and would love to have a staff full of Marys. I am not in hospitality but if I was I would hire her in a heartbeat.…
