We loved our 3-night stay at Catbird! We were impressed by the smart use of small space in the rooms, the homey vibe that blurs "lobby" with "living room" and "eat in kitchen" all at once, and the very friendly, helpful staff. If we went in a different season we would have gotten more out of the amenity fee (the hot tub was closed in Feb, but I get it) but the things we did use (rentals from the Play Room) were standouts against what is available at other hotels. Overall, we felt this place was a very good and extra stylish value for the money without making a huge dent in the wallet. The only thing that was not spectacular about our stay was the in-room coffee filters. They provide a pour over setup (nice!) but the filter glue melted immediately causing them to separate at the bottom and I got a big mouth full of grounds before realizing. Unfortunately, this happened with every. single. filter. so I was not able to enjoy any coffee in the room. They might need a new supplier or switch to reusable mesh. Shout outs to Lise (Lees?) IDK how to spell her name but we saw her every day and loved her, and Courtney for the great local recommendations. We will be back!…
I had an EXCELLENT stay for 3 nights. The staff was AWESOME, the room was DELIGHTFUL, and the rooftop New Year's party was AMAZING!! I can't wait for another stay, but hopefully the hot tubs will be completed... They looked REALLY NICE!! I MUST give some extra compliments to the engenering department/staff for the prompt knowledge of how to work the short throw projector in the room... It seriously added to the ambiance of the room. Thank you, Curtis!!
Catbird Hotel was definitely one of the best experiences I've had in the US and especially in Denver. The entire grounds are incredible. The room (the Catbird Microsuite) was perfect with high tech features, an incredible bathroom, and the projector was straight up amazing. The view blew our minds. Plus that rain shower... Not to mention the staff - wow. The entire crew, Jen, Kristen, Beverly, Ethan, Angelique, and the rest were just baller. Never felt more at home and welcomed and they made sure we had the absolute greatest time. Graham at the upstairs bar made us amazing holiday drinks before we made snow angels on the rooftop while it snowed. The freshly made food and kitchen was the icing on the cake, and I probably tried everything in the fridge and most things on the menu. Everything was 100. I'll be back shortly and actually will likely end up staying long term here in the future, thanks to the info I got from Donovan! Love this Catbird Squad. You'll see some doggos, but sadly no cats nor birds, aside from some dope curated art 😜…
The hotel lobby and rooms are very nice and modern. The staff is friendly. The check-in process was via self-serve computer terminals on the lobby. This is more typical of a budget hotel, not a hotel that charges premium rates. At the end of the check-in process, an additional charge is added for incidentals, but without explanation. The hotel charges a mandatory “amenity fee” of $25.00 per day which includes a meager made-to-order breakfast, but for ONLY ONE GUEST PER ROOM. The second guest in the room is charged an additional $10.00 We were told on day one that if we didn’t have breakfast one day that we would not be charged for the extra breakfast on a subsequent day. This promise was not honored. It wasn’t clear what one needs to do to have the room cleaned, but I’m sure if I had asked they would have had the room cleaned. Not a big deal. …
Wow! I truly enjoyed my experience at catbird hotel! The location was perfect, and the vibes fantastic. We were having trouble checking in and Kristen kindly helped us get situated and made the experience so enjoyable. She walked us through all MANY amenities and explained things so well. She made us feel right at home. The room was so spacious and the views were incredible! Loved having a small kitchen in the room and the loft style bed was unique and definitely added to our experience. Loved watching a movie on our projector screen The lobby has so many activities and with the resort fee you get a drink during happy hour and a freshly made yummy breakfast. We will definitely be back at catbird when we stay in Denver again!
Amazing hotel with rooftop views of the entire city, great breakfast, and killer location on the north end of Rino. Walk to the best foodie restaurants, bars, shops, concert venues and dispensaries in Denver. If you want to stay “in the scene” this is the place!
I have never stayed in a hotel like the Catbird. The positives include location and access to light rail to both downtown and the airport. We had a car which I would put as a negative. Valet parking was $42 a night but we found free street parking a block and a half away. You need to look at signs closely but the best choice is to use transit and skip having a car. I was emailed that checkin was at 4:00 and I would get notification when the room was ready. We called at 4:15 and they said the room should be ready. I had requested an early check in and we never had a response or notification the room was ready. The self checkin was pretty easy. The roof top bar was closed on Monday night so we could not even go up on the elevator (locked) to check the view. The room was small with some interesting design features but the platform bed was not great for anyone who needs to get up at night. The art work and lobby were nice. The $25 fee included one beverage and one breakfast… if your traveling as a couple I wasn’t sure why you only get one of each. The bathroom is nice and projection TV was enjoyable. If your looking for a good Rino location and hipster vibe this hotel works. …
The bar for my hotel experience has been raised so high from this place. The property is gorgeous, the staff is incredible and the hotel feels like home. They have put so much attention into all the details. I’ve never felt so at home in a hotel before. I love what they are doing with this place and will never stay anywhere else whenever I’m in the Denver area! I would give it 10 stars if I could!
I reserved this hotel thru my credit card. Upton I got there I was expecting a regular hotel (like a westin). To my surprise I had to check in my self (with some help from the nice staff). I got my key, got up to my room, this huge apartment like room. It had a full kitchen, a delicious bed and a smart closet with a dinning table, couch, HUGE tv projector, awesome bathroom. The only thing missing was a bathtub. The experience staying here is like renting an air bnb, only cleaner and nicer. The hall is decorated (with paintings in the walls too), and the staff is helpful. Instead of room service, the hotel gives you their recommendations to order from uber eats! I loved this. I only stayed here for 1 night, but I will definitely come back when im in Dever again.
We had such a wonderful stay at the Catbird! They have all you need, rooftop for drinks and relaxing by the fire with awesome city views. The room was comfy and all the amenities you would need. Great decorator flair throughout and the friendliest staff ever! Even our dog enjoyed it!
