Great staff, great front desk, but terrible security. My truck, along with several other vehicles, were broken into while a security guard was working. No camera coverage as it was broken. The only saving grace was how wonderful the front desk associate Tammy was. She bought us lunch, and let us extend our checkout several hours until the police were able to arrive. Bartender also stayed open late for my group one night, which was awesome.
Do not stay here! They have a contract with a private parking company. During check-in I registered our car and went through the steps that were outlined in the lobby and received a verification via text message that our car was registered. A few weeks after our stay we received a parking ticket for $67 that did not look legitimate. After calling the hotel they said it was a legitimate company. On the bright side I'm sure the hotel operator enjoys the kickback they get from bogus parking tickets.
Quick easy check in. Clean and comfortable room. I only stayed one night, but it's is a good set-up if you're staying a few days and want to eat in. The kitchen is stocked with appliances, some dishes and service ware. It was quite a large room for the price. Convenient and timely shuttle to the airport also. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment.
Checked in and there was no mention of a parking fee, $10, which I would have gladly paid. Instead get charged $87 two months later. Reading their reviews reveals this is an ongoing issue, so they are either apathetic or profiting off of it.
The best staff and customer service one could ask for. I had a unique situation with a third party that was used to book my hotel, it was handled by an assistant. I usually book my owe travel and in the future I will book directly with the hotel.
My husband and I flew into Denver for a family vacation with our two adult children. The hotel was only a few minutes from the airport. We got a 2 bedroom suite. It worked out perfectly for our family of 4. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We were happy with our stay.
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Two months after out last visit we received a charge for $84 from the car rental company for a parking violation on the hotel property. We were paid guests and the charge was completely bogus. We were told on the phone by a front desk person that they used a second party company to police their lot and others have had the same problem of false charges. Hyatt House has just blown us off about getting refunded for the incorrect charge. We were staying on their property and they are responsible for what their contractors do their customers. We were told the hotel manager had to deal with it, but we could not get through to the manager nor get a returned call. This is a very poor way to treat frequent Hyatt customers and it is unacceptable that this type of fraudulent parking fines is allowed to happen at the hotel.…
This used to be my #1 choice for departing/arriving from Denver. Unfortunately the property has declined significantly in the past few years: worn rooms, torn up parking lot, poor food. We arrived late from a trip, staying for one night. I climbed into bed to get some much needed sleep and found the sheets were soiled (little flecks of grit) and someone's socks were down in the bottom of the bed. EW! I tried calling the desk, no answer. Got dressed, finally found the girl at the desk, and calmly asked for another room - none to be found. I asked for sheets so I could go make my own bed (and my wife's, the room obviously was soiled) and was told to talk to the manager in the morning. He avoided eye contact and said he'd give me xx free points on my account, so sorry. I have given him ample opportunity to make it right but I guess it's easier to ignore my calls (I have not received the promised points). So here's something I almost always never do: write a bad review. I have many other choices; this hotel will never again be a choice.…
Hyatt House Denver near the airport was very accommodating. plenty of gas stations nearby for snacks/ drinks or gas to fill your rental before returning nearby. Lots of food options in nearby hotels and on the main road. Felt safe and had a clean room. Good views and the airport noise wasn't an issue.
Nice stay with family during Thanksgiving. Great location, shopping nearby so you don’t have to travel into the city if you don’t want. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean rooms with nice furniture.
