Hotel itself was an average Comfort Suites. However the real danger was loose off leash dogs and dangerous aggressive pit bulls. A pit bull lunged at a hotel guest and was growling at and lunging at children, including my two year old. Neither the dog owner or the hotel management were willing to do anything about it. Eventually police had to be called. The hotel was also reeking of Marijuana. This hotel is not safe for children and families.
The location is excellent for this property. The staff were quite pleasant and easy to deal with. The room was large and quite comfortable. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the property. It is a nondescript chain, so there is not anything amazing for me to chat about here. It was clean, comfy, and fairly priced. I will return.
I thought this was a nice place, internet was good beds and sheets were good, a.c. was a little slow, i.e. it starts getting a little warm before the thermostat kicks on, but when it kicked on it worked well. My wife wasn't so happy, the room was a little small and we paid for a suite, which she thought was two rooms, but was in fact one room divided in two with a 6 ft. long pony wall dividing the two sections. On one side was a small sleeping area and the other was an "L" shaped sofa. It was described as having two beds and a two person sofa, but their idea of a suite is very liberal. So if you decide to stay here remember everything is good except the room size and don't expect a suite deal.
Stayed here for two nights as part of a 2 week road trip to Denver from Seattle. Plenty of free parking. Friendly welcoming staff. Good size room (suite), clean and tidy with microwave & fridge. Large TV, comfortable beds, lighting could be better, bit dingy! Wi-Fi 5mbps down, 5mbps up, it worked! Bathroom good size, clean and tidy. Good lighting although the shades were missing! Good size counter top & mirror. Plenty of hot water, pressure ok, extractor ok. Many (very) loose fittings including the shower temp/flow adjustment & spout and the basin taps & spout. Had to turn the cistern off at night due to it constantly filling/overflowing. Breakfast room is too small for the size of the hotel, badly laid out. Need to get down early else not much left, some of which seemed to be scattered all over the floor! Did not use the pool or fitness centre during the stay. Overall it is a convenient place to stay (and the price) but is tatty around the edges and is in need of some desperate tlc. Could be a gem of a hotel with the right investment. Needs a property & management makeover! Wouldn’t stay at it again which is a pity, perhaps if another group took it over and turned it into something better?…
We loved the hot breakfast with meat and eggs! There were many other food choices too. The property itself is a little worn in places but otherwise, no complaints. The noise level was good so we slept well. Everything worked right in our room and we did not encounter any issues. We did encounter a few people that we felt a bit uneasy around but this is a pretty subjective thing. One guy with a backpack looked like he was going to approach us for money in the driveway but we did not make eye contact and he went on his way.
Surprisingly nice hotel. My room was clean and well maintained. I was especially impressed by the comfort of the mattress and the softness of the sheets. Water pressure in the shower was not good, so I’m going to knock of a star for that. Also, the “down” button outside the elevators on the third floor was missing, so if you wanted to head down to the lobby, you had to hit the “up” button to summon the elevator. I could see this being a problem when the hotel is busy and many people are trying to use the elevators. Breakfast was ok. Not amazing, but adequate and definitely better than other “free” breakfasts I’ve had at hotels. There’s not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so I think that’s why it’s cheaper than many of the hotels in the area. However, it’s convenient to the Mile High stadium which I was the location of the event I was in Denver for.…
We had 4 in our party so different thoughts on our stay. Room: We had a suite room with 3 beds and it was perfect! It was clean, comfy beds, bathrooms were nice, and air flow nice. The separate bedroom was a bit noisy due to the fact that the elevator shaft was next to it. Breakfast: Due to Covid still, one person serves everyone. She was overworked and a bit snappy. Out of 5 days, we only ate once - food wasn’t too great and limited on what they had. There were so many staying at the hotel (workers, another hotel is inside Comfort Inn, and large families). Only 1 person in our group wanted to return so instead we ate at Einstein Bagels and CFA on the other days. Staff: It is difficult to find desk staff. There were times the line was 6 deep without any staff around. We did report our bathroom light was out on the first day and it was still out when we checked out. Ice Machine: Had to go downstairs each time since upper floor machines were out Cleanliness: People staying there were just awful! They threw food and trash in the elevators, on the floors, on chairs, etc. Some evenings we returned to plates of food on the floor, smashed food in the elevator, parking lot with leftovers...just filth! And over half appeared to be either high on drugs or drunk. But inside our rooms, clean, quiet, and safe. …
Our key wasn’t working twice in a row. My bf went to get a new key but they needed to talk to me since it was under my name. Before I could begin speaking, she said before you open your mouth and give me attitude know i can kick you out. I said don’t make assumptions, nothing came out of my mouth. She kept threatening to kick us out, told me I cussed at her. I was raised right I don’t cuss. I said fricken at the very end. My bf went back up to Mary Jane to say that it wasn’t right for her to make assumptions of me and accuse me of cussing which she agreed too and we have on video. She said my body language said I was upset. She called the cops and kicked us out. We have our conversation on video of us acting calm and her taking her mask down to yell at us and saying we were acting unruly. The cops showed up and calmly talked to us. I have quite a bit of points saved up but will never stay here again. Mary Jane should not be in customer service. Clearly she likes power and knows how to Abuse it. It’s sad because this is an example of disregarding customer service and apparently this is a comfort inn policy. Also, not covid safe as the manager Mary Jane took down her mask to yell at us.…
They will charge you false fee’s and steal your money. My husband and I stayed for two nights and had a great time while there. Then we get home and see that we were charged a $250 charge for smoking!!! We never smoked in the room or even lit anything that would make smoke. They said the smoke alarm went off which is false and that they tried contacting us and again false! They said there were towels under the door and yellow spots!!! Are you serious, the bathroom is right by the main door that’s where the towels were at. When we called to confront them, we spoke with JOSH who is supposedly the GM he said he had pictures and the report of the alarm. So now you have been in my rooM and never contacted me! All this information was lies and never in my life have I been stolen from! That’s what they are doing is stealing my money, I would take a lie detecter in front of god and that’s how serious I am that we NEVER SMOKED!!! The floor smelled like weed and the window was open at the end of the hall, sounds like they don’t know how to keep tract of their guest and just charge people how ever they would like. Never stay here!!!!…
The staff were so professional and helpful, the rooms are very clean, and the location is just ideal - close to downtown and all the sport arenas. Management were very attentive to our needs all hours of the day and night.
