Had one night here for a work dinner and loved the place...very clean, love the tea and coffee available 24/7. Very helpful staff also. Beds were super comfortable with extremely soft sheets and very bright, airy rooms with lots of natural light. Valet parking was way too expensive at $54 per night.
Our family of 4 had the pleasure of experiencing the relaxed chill vibe of Halycon! We were so relaxed and enjoying the atmosphere of Demeter we wish we could have started longer to unplug with our family in this unique hotel! Highly recommend to all my family and friends but keep a secret because it felt so special 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I recently had a scheduled company customer happy hour, and working with the staff was a breeze. Quincey had thoughtful responses, and as everyone leverages email so much for communication, it's taken for granted. However, Quincey made me feel like I was talking to her in person as we planned my production. They have a lovely menu, a talented executive chef, the hotel and management team, Carlos, and the entire BG&C crew. Unfortunately, we had to move our event date due to inclement weather, and we still had a lovely turnout because everyone was raving about the bar and hotel experience. They are very accommodating and think quickly on their feet. VIP problem solvers for sure, and they do it all behind the scenes to ensure my clients, partners, and customers have a great time! This is an important skill when leveraging their fantastic event spaces. They are all professional, and I look forward to working with them again! If you haven't checked out their speakeasy, it's worth leveraging that venue for intimate gatherings, perfect for networking, drinks, and a good time.…
Great location for exploring the Cherry Creek area and not far from downtown Denver. Very cool vibe and nice furnishings in lobby and room. Standard king room is just a bit on the small side but cozy and nicely appointed, with comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and a good shower. Around the clock free coffee in the lobby and daily happy hour with complimentary drinks are welcome added touches. Room was just a bit noisy. Be aware of the resort fee in determining total cost. Still a pretty good value.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Halcyon in Denver for a weekend away and had an amazing experience. I don’t normally take time to write reviews, but I can’t say enough great things about our stay. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were entering a cozy, but elegant home. It was beautifully decorated for the holiday and the staff were all incredibly welcoming, both of which added to the overall personal feel of the hotel. Some of my favorite things were the never-ending amenities. Complimentary coffee, tea, beer, wine & bubbles at the lounge along with beautiful coffee table books to browse while relaxing in front of the fire… Heaven! Since it’s in the heart of downtown Cherry Creek, we had a lovely time walking around, enjoying the nearby coffee shops & window-shopping. The rooms had so many thoughtful touches including the record player, Nespresso machine, & delicious biscuits. The bed and pillows were also incredibly comfortable. The hotel also got us a reservation at one of the city’s best speakeasy bars (located under the hotel) where we enjoyed exquisite craft cocktails. There were so many other things we didn’t have enough time for like the hot tub, rooftop bar, Denver Botanic Gardens pass, and we are definitely coming back to take advantage of their Gear Garage! Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at the Halcyon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury hotel with a personal feel.…
Halcyon Hotel located in the Cherry Creek district, a great choice for our weekend getaway. The Staff made our stay so personalized from arrival to departure. Upon arrival Kristen and Josh greeted us with coffee and muffins. They offered to assist with our bags and offered any other items that would be needed for our stay. The Cherry Creek Shopping Center was a quick walk away. Area offered nice restaurants and shopping. Before dinner we enjoyed the Happy Hour offered by the hotel in the lovely lounge with a fireplace. Cami offered wine, beer and champagne for our enjoyment. The Quality Italian was a lovely place to dine and located next to the hotel lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pedro offered us ideas for our evening enjoyment. Great staff working to make our stay pleasant. …
I would say I am a person that truly appreciates a beautiful hotel, because I worked in them for about 7 years in the past. That being said, I have to say Halcyon was one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen! Located in Cherry Creek, 10 minutes from downtown Denver! Halcyon will give you something you will never experience at another hotel! Halcyon offers a check-in experience like you are at your local coffee shop! That's right, you can get yourself an expresso, made to order, while checking into your room! You walk through the lobby, past a beautiful fireplace, and past a bike room where you can rent/borrow bikes to ride around the beautiful neighborhoods that surround the hotel! While riding the elevator to our rooms you will notice amazing glass artwork of a bear and fantastic tiling on the floor! When getting off the elevator you’ll quickly notice free Halcyon empty water bottles and covered fruit for the taking! The reason the bottles are empty is so you can fill them up right then and there with the water temp of your choice, hot or cold! The finishes on the doors and the color of the paint they chose is magnificent! There is a mat to wipe your feet built into the wood floor with a different saying to welcome each guest! They also have leather bags that hang outside each door that offer different information. Very nice touch! Then you walk into the large and attractive room! Each room is different and the high-end finishes and all of the little extra add-ins can keep your eyes busy! I especially loved the tiling in the showers, and how all the toiletries were placed orderly under the sink for quick access! I specifically loved the nice coffee machine in the room! This isn't your normal coffee maker! One memory that we will soon not forget was the vinyl record player in the rooms! My parents were quickly taken back to their high school days in the ’70s when we put on some music that they offer their guests to play! Before we made our way to the restaurant we went to the top floor where the pool was! The pool was heated with a hot tub! There were also many cabanas and great music playing! Terrific views and relaxed vibes! We ended our night at their restaurant called Local Jones! This place was something else! Relaxed atmosphere with a great menu! We will be returning even if we won't be staying at the hotel! We also had the pleasure of working with Candace Duran! She is the Director of Sales for Halcyon and she will be a person you will soon not forget! Her welcoming attitude made you feel special! Because of the great experience she has provided, I will be recommending Halcyon to friends, family, and my company to host future events! Thank you again!…
Love it. The staff are wonderful, the hotel is cozy and modern, and all of the cool stuff that comes with! A fresh made latte and muffin after my (Halcyon sponsored) morning Soul Cycle. Bubbly water on tap. Super comfy beds. A great neighborhood. Whats not to like?
Our one night stay has been excellent from the Valet, Front desk, Bar and Dining service. The rooms are spacious and well appointed . The details of refillable water bottles, no charge coffee and beverage bar really make the difference too.
Arriving in Denver Airport during the airline’s meltdown was something special in itself, delayed, luggage lost. After all that we finally get in the Hotel around 2 AM to find a extremely helpful front desk. The room is well appointed, the hotel has a artistic vibe, unfortunately a lot they have to offer we couldn’t enjoy due the weather (bikes etc.) Love the free lattes, tea and wine. Each floor has this faucet that dispense sparkling, flat or hot water. Where can I buy one? The staff is friendly and really try their best to accommodate. I definitely recommend stay at Halcyon.
