The owner checked us in was very pleasant and informative about the hotel and it's previously being a hospital. We were able to see several rooms when we checked in because the doors are left open for viewing and it really gave you any feeling of but the hospital was like back in the early 1900s. The decorations and items...

Great old building that has been well maintained, more then a few common areas to sit back and relax. Rooms were of good size and comfortable. The breakfast was great as well. For the price will always stay there when I'm in cripple creek.

This was a very unique hotel that had a lot of history on display. The history of the building is fascinating. The hotel was very nice and well decorated and the rooms were small, but very comfortable. The hotel is a bit away from the towns main street and its attractions, but we considered that a plus. There is also...

My SO & I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hostess was very helpful & encouraged us to view some of the other empty rooms. Since this used to be a hospital in the early 1900's, they did display quite a few interesting antiques. A lot of history here. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Small rooms, an activity room that closes at 10:00. Considering this is Cripple Creek, we found that to be an early closure for one of the nicer touches to this facility. The continental breakfast was a joke. Cereal that was hard as a rock and stuck together, Apple cider packets available with hot water, and even those were very hard...

Our neighbors recommended this place we were not aware of in Cripple Creek Colorado, they stayed in their R.V. outside with hookups we stayed inside with a room with a bathroom, some rooms share a Bathroom, really interesting place with a lot of History at this establishment. On the outskirts of town but accessible to many attractions that Cripple Creek...

This is an old historic hospital which has been converted into a B&B. There are rooms in the old part of the building, and there is also a new wing. We stayed in the new wing and the room was very nice. Each room is named for the function of the room in which it is located. There is an...

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience! As you noted all rooms bear the name of how the room may have functioned when once a hospital. The Operating Room is original to 1901, including the brass foot-pedals in the scrub room. We very much appreciate you taking the time to provide your recommendation.

Awesome history to this place! We stayed in the old "operating room" and normally I'd be scared but learning the history was really neat! Perfect place to stay especially if you just need somewhere nice to sleep at night while you're enjoying Colorado during the day! Super nice friendly staff and very clean rooms! If we ever come to this...

Beautifully decorated rooms in an old hospital. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it is located several blocks from the casino area, it was quiet. We even saw deer grazing on the hillside just outside our window. A nice continental breakfast was served the next morning. Would definitely recommend.

Well kept place, all kinds of antiques. Hard to believe that it used to be a hospital. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great stay! The hotel is a little ways from the gaming areas, so it was not only beautiful, but quiet and peaceful.
