The four bedroom condo was well appointed and well located but had numerous small things that spoiled the stay. The kitchen sink plumbing leaked. The common-use commode only worked marginally. The windows were very difficult to move up or down. And the deal breaker was the internet would not work,...numerous calls to the management ellicited,.."we've been having troubles",..."we'll reset it",..."keep...

I've spent a week here in the Winter and most recently a week here in the Summer with Black Bear Lodge fitting the bill both times. In the Winter BBL puts you just 100 yards from a primary lift. In the Summer BBL gives you easy access to a paved 3-mile walking path down the mountain to the village of...

We had hoped to book a room at The Lodge at Mountaineer Square (where we have stayed before) because we like the location so much (easy access to various restaurants, mini-golf, ski lift, etc.), and the rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and exceptionally clean. However, we were a little late making our plans and The Lodge was all booked up. We...

The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable! A nice place to stay! We stayed as a family and had a really good time. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a small cafe that could serve simple foods until 11:00 pm on weekends. We wanted to have something and nothing was available. It...

Our home we rented was perfect for the 12 of us with 6 kids. Only down side is that it was one at the end of the resort. Spa services were excellent, pool was great, sledding was great in sisters and lots of room to just play out back. Our 2 dogs with loved it too.

We just returned from the Black Bear Lodge for a 5 night stay. We traveled with a group of 10 and rented a 2 BD/2BA and a 3 BD/3BA condo. We had 4 ppl in the 2 BD and the remaining 6 in teh 3 BD. I would not recommend anymore then 4 ppl in 2 BD and no more...

This place was a great choice for my family. The people that work for cbmr, are kind and accomadating and another plus is it's cozy living space and it was perfect for my family of five. My family has been coming here to ski and snowboard for the past seven years. This was our first time staying at these condos....

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo with our toddler, 2 other couples and their 2 children for a weekend of mountain biking in the fall. The lodge is nicely decorated and inviting, but the overall feel is cramped. We had a first floor unit, and it is one level. All 3 bedrooms are small and the furniture fills up...

Although the 4 Bedroom Unit we rented was very roomy and upscale the eating area only had seating for 4 people and the kitchen counter had 3 more stools. The Living room was no better with an uncomfortable couch for 3 people and 2 plain chairs. The stereo was broken and the t.v. was a cheap 20 inch unit. The...
