The room smelled like mildew, when asked, towels were rationed, no extra blanket, a/c didn’t get cold. The parking lot was sketchy at best with large moving semis parked in mud puddles at the rooms windows. Won’t ever go back.
By far the worst hotel stay I have ever had in my life! From missing items (iron and ironing board), to an inefficient amount of towels (2 per room-there were 4 people in the room), to old and worn furniture (scratches, tears, etc) and broken locks- I have seen better quality in thrift stores and dumpsters. It is apparent that the owner of this property does not care about the property. There is no way I would recommend this hotel.
This place is a joke. I would never recommend anyone staying here. Everything in our room was broken, burnt, or dirty. Shower barely worked. Sink sprayed water. Floors were sticky and gross. Hot tub doesn’t work. Literally terrible.
This hotel was gross and a horrible stay. The most unbelievable part is the suite I was in DID NOT LOCK! YES YOU READ IT RIGHT! No security at all. When I slept it wasn’t locked, showered it wasn’t locked, when we left it wasn’t locked! This was so scary!!
Please improve the process for receiving a refund. I booked my room for three nights, but checked out after the first night due to extreme dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and service of the property. I was instructed by the front desk clerk to contact booking.com to receive my refund. When I contacted them, I was told to contact the hotel manager for my refund. I returned to the front desk of the hotel and was then told to return after 3:00 pm that day to receive my refund from the manager. When I returned at 3:45 pm, I was informed that the manager “did not come in today” and to please return between 12 and 5 the following day. When I returned at 12 the following day, the manager informed me that I was required to have booking.com contact her about the cancellation of my reservation, although they had already contacted her the day prior when I contacted booking.com to cancel my reservation. I contacted booking.com again, who then contacted the manager via phone and email to confirm my cancellation. I was then advised that my refund would be issued in 5-7 business days. Overall I was extremely dissatisfied with my stay at Days Inn and will never again return to a Days Inn hotel, as this was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I will advise my peers as well to never conduct business with Days Inn. …
