The hotel is exquisite! Tastefully decorated. Bed very comfortable. Food delicious. Try the French dip and the bread pudding. Courteous staff. Location great! And the bartender, Ward, made our day! Highly recommend this experience! We will be back!

Arrived Friday around noon and was greeted at the valet stand very well. We were shown where to check in and were helped immediately. Since we were early, our rooms that we reserved weren't ready yet, so they upgraded us free of charge. Immediate impression of the hotel is that it's modern and clean. My room is very spacious and...

I love this hotel. It is such a pleasure to stay in. This visit I had a couple of minor issues. First, in our room...512...the ceiling fan is in the path of the a/c air flow and must collect dust. We turned on the fan and dust went everywhere...fine layer all over the room the next morning, even on our...

Thank you very much for your kind review about our hotel. We will specifically take a look at this room to see if possible filters need to be changed to reduce down on dust. The ceiling fans do get dusted daily but could be another issue. As well as making sure the speed dials are working on the phone. Please...

Hotel was great on every level. Renovation done several years ago was excellent with separate toilet room in bathroom, dual shower heads, and generally a lot of space in room. Historic element to hotel makes it unique with particularly nice lobby area for drinks/casual meetings.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday with an overnight stay and added the "Romantic Couples Getaway" package which includes champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a 50-minute couples massage in the MX (short for Mining Exchange) Spa. The MX Spa is a retreat hidden in the lower level of the hotel so it's a quick jump from your room into the...

This is an old building with a ton of history. It was pretty cool to stay here. The hallways were a bit odd, but I would stay here again. The room was clean. There is even the old safe door in the lobby. I am posting some photos from the stairwell where you can see the old section of the...

I love this hotel. The rooms are so quiet due to the age of the historical building (was the Gold Mining Exchange back in the day, hence the thickness of walls is amazing), plus the sliding door between the entry and the "bedroom" is a wonderful idea. Bathrooms are huge whether you reserve a Regular King (huge walk-in, dual-headed shower) or...

Thank you so very much for the kind comments about our rooms. We do get the room carpet cleaned on a regular basis but we are at a point that we are looking to replace the carpet in a few rooms that cleaning does not appear to make a difference. Thank you for letting us know and we are looking...
