We loved our recent trip to Glen Eyrie. It is close to many hiking trails and wasn't far to go to Garden of the Gods. The room was simple and no Internet so it was a great escape from reality. It was also nice to be able to drive up to Pikes Peak.I would highly recommend this destination as a...

We have previously stayed in the 3rd floor turret room. Our visit this time was for the tour and Royal Tea. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our visits including the unexpected viewing of a herd of Big Horn Sheep! Quiet, relaxing and a unique location to stay or visit!

I've spent years in the Colorado Springs and Denver area and didn't know this property was here. VERY NICE! Can't be seen from the road. No city noise! Historic yet met all my modern needs. The one thing to remember is that they do not have TV's in the room, but do have free wifi. Great for retreats, meetings, conferences,...

We thought we left our castle exploring days back in England and Scotland but we stumbled upon this gem and stayed one night in a deluxe room. The room was pretty much what I expected for what we paid: comfortable but nothing extraordinary to be honest. Needs updating but really, who cares about that when YOU'RE STAYING IN A CASTLE....

The Castle is a beautiful turn of the century building next to the Garden of the Gods. The ground are beautiful and exceptionally peaceful. The rooms in the Castle are mixed. The one we stayed in was worn and dated. It wouldn't take much to make it more comfortable. There is no air conditioning. We saw some of the larger...

We did not have time to actually go thru the castle but drove all around the grounds. The castle is exquisite and the scenery and red rock formations nearby are breath taking! Would enjoy spending the night in the castle when the weather is cooler. Found out it does not have air conditioning in the rooms

This is a very special place to visit and stay. The rooms are comfortable and charming. The castle has a rich history and the grounds are fun to explore. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It feels very peaceful and tranquil and I can not wait to go back!

I stayed in Big Horn on the first floor for a week and it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The absence of a TV made the stay quiet, peaceful, and reflective. The pace of living slowed so I could enjoy the majestic and awe inspiring geography and the many unique historical and tourist attractions. Nearby are great sites: Garden of...

My wife and I stayed at Glen Eyrie for one night, but we wish it were six more. Beautiful grounds, especially friendly staff, and as clean as Disney World. The feeling I kept having was that this was a truly authentic experience - the hotel is owned by a NFP, and it has that feel of little commercialism. We stayed...
