As a native resident of Colorado Springs, I looked forward to my stay at the Antlers Hotel. I reserved a Queen room with downtown view and special aromatherapy. Unfortunately, the window was so dirty from the outside I didn't get a good view. Also, during my 7 day stay I moved to another room as the original room did not look clean. The bathroom door was peeled, the shower walls appeared to have mold and the aromatherapy needed a new filter. I did inform the desk staff each day of any issues. The 2nd room I was provided was sufficient but then the broiler broke. In total, I experienced 3 days of either no hot water or the water was brown. On the 7th day I checked out and checked into the Mining Exchange, Wyndham. The lobby was nice, the hotel staff were nice and professional. The underground parking was good and easy access to the elevator to the hotel. Just do not hold your parking ticket next to your keys or cell as it will deactivate. Overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the rooms - - water issues were unfortunate and that's why I ultimately checked out. Location was perfect downtown and easy to get around. Maybe it was bad timing......I must add that the hotel did provide me a credit.

We stayed June 13 to June 14. The check in staff was rude and annoyed that they had to help us. Parking was a nightmare! And ridiculously expensive! No one told us that the hot water was out, for days before we got there! I was told by the front desk that it would be on within a few hours. I talked to a hotel guest a bit later and he said there was no hot water for his entire 5 day stay. Over priced, small and dirty room. Will not stay again.

This was the single worst hotel experience I have ever had. This place was obviously a very nice hotel in the 1980s but even more obviously, they have not spent a single dollar on maintenance since. The first indication something was wrong was the toilet paper and towel holders were falling out of the walls, there are holes in the walls in the lobby, the wifi was installed sometime prior to dial-up, and the front desk staff was downright rude. While these were minor annoyances, the real kicker is that there was no hot water my entire stay and more often than not, there was no running water at all. When I read the recent Google I was surprised to learn that this has been going on for weeks with no warning from the staff. Staff repeatedly said that the issues would be fixed "soon." I'm guessing they meant soon on a geological timescale because I checked out and there was still no hot water. As a way of compensating me for the inconvenience of not having running water, they offered a free Starbucks drink. I have stayed at motels better than this.

It’s basically a dump. We checked into three different room and two of the rooms had issues. Our first room bedding was dirt. Our second room had electrical issues and the toilet never stopped running. The glory of the Antlers Hotel is long gone. It’s time for a major renovation

The staff I interacted with were top of the food chain professionals. The hotel is old but has some charm. And the location is fantastic. Everything downtown is an easy walk away. I checked in on 5/28 around 2 or 3 and the young man that checked us in was a pro and explained about where to park and to bring the ticket to get validated every time. The bartender female chatted me and my wife up so we liked her. And Attis, working at the Sports Bar in the hotel. I haven't seen an employee work like that in a long time. We could tell the restaurant was understaffed, BUT, because this guy was working with a sense of urgency I haven't seen in a while, we wanted for nothing. It was actually fun watching this man work.
