We enjoy visiting Colorado Springs for mini staycations and switching up the hotels when we visit. Since we are a family of four we like to spread out and stay at suites and longer stay places. We picked this location for this and the fact it was new. We really liked the contemporary feel of the rooms and layout, including the slide out bed under the couch which made it perfect for a family movie night. The location is on the north end of Colorado Springs, but don’t let that deter you. Everything is probably a 15-20 minute drive and I like that you can walk to several restaurants, including a liquor store if you so desire from here. For this it was a good location and value for us.
A cozy Marriott hotel with very friendly service from check in to service. The hotel is clean and near some restaurants walking distance and even shopping. The room was good and felt good to relax. Bed was soft and pillows were fluffy. Have a simple coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Bathroom had hair dryer and basic need such as shampoo. Tv was nice flat screen with nice greeting on screen. In the lobby breakfast was available, gym was opened but limited due to covid (not an issue during visit) Had a pool and looks such as they have a bar for the night (not available the day I stayed). Also nice filled convenient store with nice variety. So, I gave it a four star comparing to other Springfield Suite. The coffee maker was ok but seen Keurig. There was conditioner out of bottle and and no laundry bag. And simple things would be plate and silverware availability in room. For a king size bed have king size pillows. Again this is comparing to other equivalent Springfield Suite. Overall, I was very happy with the stay and would recommend and stay here again. Bonus: special Olympic auction in the lobby. Very cool. …
We visited the Springhill Suites North off of Interquest Pkwy. We enjoyed our stay very much. The front desk folks were all super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The view toward the mountains, outstanding. Parking was plentiful and free. The hotel was within walking distance to several restaurants. 15 minutes from COS and 30 minutes to Manitou Springs. Very safe area.
We had a great stay, although we only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however it seemed like there were a few issues at the hotel that they were aware of. Not sure how long this issues have been occurring. For example, the enhanced internet wouldn’t work and the front desk staff was aware and told us to push the internet support button on the phone in our room, however that didn’t work (which turns out they were also aware of). We had to wait for them to figure out the number so that we could call the internet support directly to get them to help. Additionally, we chose this property because it had Tesla Destination chargers, but they are misconfigured and set to charge at the speed of a wall outlet. Also, we were looking forward to sitting outside to enjoy the fire pit, but we couldn’t get that to turn on. Overall, the hotel was very well kept up. We were very happy with the room, furniture, bathroom and desk area (especially since we worked there for a day, it was helpful to have a desk with a divider. We thought it was overall a nice hotel and hopefully they can get these issues worked out soon.…
Property is new and elevators and rooms had a very strong chemical odor; windows would not open sufficiently to air out the room, so you have to breathe that while you are there. Front desk often unattended. There is a Residence Inn and a Hampton Inn right next door that are much nicer for about the same price; I have stayed at both and preferred them without question. Would not stay at the Springhill again.
