I recently stayed at the family-owned Lodge at the Roaring Fork in Carbondale, CO just 35 minutes down valley from Aspen/Snowmass. The building is beautifully designed and constructed by the owners, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, the Jacuzzi-pool even works during snowfalls and is solar-heated, the young family is very friendly and helpful. I even got help clearing the... More

Absolutely beautiful. The service was incredible, and the rooms were so comfy and cozy. Woke up to hot coffee, and delicious breakfast, while overlooking the Roaring Fork. We had a long trail run that day and returned to soak our tired legs in the river and then hit the hot tub...breathtaking.

We stayed at the Lodge for a business trip after which we wanted to do a 3 hour run on the beautiful trails. Jason prepared a healthy yogurt parfait breakfast and strong, delicious coffee. After our run, we jumped in the Roaring Fork and then hit the hot tub at the Lodge. This is a perfect high-altitude training camp for... More

They never did that before so it was neat for them. I highly recommend this place for a getaway. My wife and I never like anywhere we go... More

Just walk out the back door of The Lodge on the Roaring Fork and there's the Roaring Fork River and Rio Grande bike trail just steps away. A full breakfast cooked by the charming owners got us started every morning and when we returned to the Lodge around 4 or 5pm there was ice cold beer, wine and cheese by... More
