Stayed here for 1 night travelling down from cairns to Brisbane, it was easily the quietest most chilled out hostel we stayed at as a group for a long time. we managed to be there in time for the quiz which we WON (a bottle of wine)! and was so much more chilled out and not loud compared to other...

Stayed here for one night to do the Skydive, the hostel is nice and spacious, especially the lounge area. The wifi is excellent and we also had a free bbq in the evening (Sunday evening). Staff are friendly but a lot of the people there seem to stay in their same clique. We had an issue with our room and...

Thank you so much for taking the time write this review. Our guests thoughts are so important to us. I'm so pleased to hear that our staff were able to help with your situation and ensured you had a good nights sleep. With regards to our location, we are in a secluded spot. However with our shuttle bus running daily,...

The location here is great, Woolworth's practically opposite, Wongaling beach is a 5-10 min walk down the road. The accommodation was a great price compared to others. This was by far the most unloved building we've stayed in for 3 months of travelling in Aus. By this I mean; rust, dust, cobwebs, not sure if it was dirt or a...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this very insightful and honest review. The thought of our guests are very important to us. The more feedback we get, the more we can try and do to improve our hostel. you are correct in saying that the hostel is a bit tired. we try and clean it as...

This was a flying visit for us but we arrived quite late that night. When we had arrived, the beds were quite damp. They were clean it was just a little annoying. On the plus side there was free internet which is great to get in Australia and they were very accommodating letting us check in late.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hostel. We really do appreciate all comments received by our valued guests. Thank you for bringing to our attention about the dampness on the bed. This is a constant Battle when living in 80% humidity. but it is one that we will keep fighting. hopefully it will be better...

Not only is ABSOLUTE a superior place in PERFORMANCE and PRESENTATION but it also is a stand out in the 3 Ls stakes. Say what? Um....the 3 Ls the real estate agents are always banging on about: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. LOCATION 1 – ABSOLUTE is only 200m from the area"s GREYHOUND bus stop. This is important in a location as...

We stayed for a couple of nights and one thing is for sure... Bring mozzie stuff!! The hostel grounds are pretty with a pool and an open veranda/kitchen with good stuff to use. The room was alright but a bit disappointing because the air con was broken and the mosquito door doesn't lock so it was a decision whether to...

I backpacked down the east coast solo, and never in my 6 weeks did I feel so isolated and excluded as I did here. The staff are a big clique group of girls who don't involve you at all. I felt like the new girl at a high school trying to fit in, it was terrible. I was solo for...

Thank you for leaving your review and giving us feedback. I do apologise that you felt isolated while staying with us. We have been quite the last couple of weeks which has meant the place has been quite. I have spoken to the girls to ensure that they include the guests more in their activities.
