The road is rough, but waking up to the jungle outside our window was definitely worth it! Bring your yoga mat if you're into yoga, as the rainforest will help you feel the zen. Take the time to do the hike in the park to the waterfall! And pay for a guide if you want to learn about the flora...

I can't say enough about this place so I'm going to try to sum it up in only a few sentences. The atmosphere was just beautiful. The staff even more so, they are so friendly and attentive. We had the pleasure of getting to know Anthony, Ever and Grayby. They truly make you feel welcomed. I loved loved loved this...

Perfect location if you're doing the rio celeste hike. A secret entrance to rio celeste is available via the hotel amenities where you can actually swim in the beauty of the river. During November it is rainy season, so it is very humid. Try adding insense/candles in the rooms to help with humidity smell, plus it adds for even better...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here during our 1 week in Costa Rica. It is a bit off the beaten track - isolated and a rough road in and out. But, worth it. We enjoyed relaxing in our gorgeous room and watching the rainforest from our private patio. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food...

I loved the hotel. It's beautiful, from the hotel you can walk to the river. Their food was amazing, the staff is super friendly and nice. I just didn't like the fact that there is no wi-fi in the rooms.

My husband and I had the chance to stay one night in this great hotel. In the morning around 6:00 am, we went to the Rio Celeste and we have been realy surprise by the beauty of the global environment! After a quick swim and walk back to the hotel, we enjoyed the excellent breafast before carrying on our trip.

My wife, daughter and myself recently visited this hotel. The roads were pretty rough, but I blame that partly on not having a 4x4 and would highly recommend anyone visiting ensure they have one. The rooms are very large, the food is good, the pool is decent. Unfortunately, we were unable to truly experience this hotel as we checked in...

My husband and I stayed at Rio Celeste from 10/19 through 10/22/2014. This was the first hotel we stayed at on our honeymoon, and we didn't arrive until about 1:00 AM due to flight delays and the long trip from San Jose to Rio Celeste. Here are the pros and cons of our visit: PROS: Beautiful. The grounds are very...

The rooms are EXACTLY like the pictures (which almost never happens). Our room was huge and the balcony overlooking the beautiful vegetation was amazing. I fell in love with the outdoor shower and now need to add one to my home! As many reviews have stated the road to get to the hotel is realllly bad and if you are...

We stayed in October 2014 during the rainy season. The hotel and suites are gorgeous, the koi pond is a lot of fun (they even let us feed them), and the staff is incredibly friendly. During our 4 night stay the hotel lost water service for nearly 2 days. That meant 2 days without running water in the rooms for...
