This is a cozy spot tucked away at the base of the Rockies to the west of Buena Vista. A creek divides the hotel property from the road, giving the peaceful sound of running water anytime you’re outside your room. A feeling of solitude permeates this place. It feels like you could sit here for a month and write a... More

We love the vibe and throwback feel of this place and really enjoyed our stay. The pools are great, with varied temperatures and clean-great for a good soak. We don't mind overlooking some things if the price is right, but at this price point it would be nice to have some coffee filters in the room and hot water in... More

Dont let the negative reviews scare you. We found them to be so far from the truth it wasnt funny. The rooms are spotless. Heated from the pools themselves. They stay very warm. The pools were awesome!! Very clean, crystal clear. Some were very hot, some very warm and some cooler. All very rustic. Loved the rock formations with built... More

We stayed in a riverside cabin. The sound was lovely...but no window on that side. Everything is just funky. Kitchen, yes, but only literally one plug. Must choose stove or coffee maker or toaster... Private hot tub was nice...but we seldom used it because had difficulty regulating temp. See pics...it was over $600 for three nights. I know it includes amazing... More

This spa was 1 of 5 that I stopped at on a 5 day motorcycle ride. This spa might not seem like much when you first arrive however behind the scene there is a group of people that truly care about how you are and what they can do to make your time at there spa the best it can... More

We were a big group, so we rented "the house down the road"... An annexed house close to the hot springs......EEEK..... Oh boy... While it was fairly clean, it was cluttered with the owners personal belongings & the outside was full of metal, old wood, a crappy broken hot tub.. & a wimpy rope across to stop one from falling... We really enjoyed the massages and the pools, but when it came time to find our room at what I was told was a quaint romantic B&B style house because they didn't have any king accommodations at the lodge. We drove a mile and a half to only get lost down a road because of the poor directions. Once we... More

The hot springs and massage were great, however we got placed in the "bed and breakfast" which is basically someones house, that smelled horribly like cat piss! our room had dirty cloths under the bed and in the drawers, mouse droppings all over the house, and the smell was horrendous! When we complained we were told there was never a... More

Unique experience, lovely staff. I'd definitely go back, but I'd stay in the lodge: the private cabins have private pools, but ours was dark, gloomy, had a mattress like a limp waffle and, overall, the whole interior had seen better days (maybe in the '70s?).

We stayed in a lodge room which had been recently renovated. The bed was extremely comfortable with good linens, the room is large, with a writing table and chest of drawers. The pillows are new...but very big (thick). If you want a different pillow, bring your own as there are none others offered. Bathroom is quite small; there is only... More
