Some things work some do not. The 5 springs are very nice but today only three were functioning. I was not told this the night before when I called. This is my second visit, 2014 and 2015. Both times I had difficulties at the payment window. Both times I had a reservation for massages and made myself as clear as... More

The room had a king size bed and was generally an acceptable size room for a motel. Unfortunately when my alarm went off at 5:30 a.m (I planned a hiking trip to Mt. Yale) I could hear several other guests awaken and use the bathroom. The website brags about not needing air conditioning because the windows open up to the... More

My daughter and I chose this spot to relax after a long hike. It was very good but could use a little remodeling to keep up with the amount of tourists it attracts. The hot springs were definitely HOT. A little too small for the amount of people it had utilizing the facility. We will return when the high tourism... More

This inn professes "Our mission is to provide a peaceful and relaxing space for our guests to bring themselves into balance in body, mind, and spirit, and to provide them with a wide range of spa services'. This is so not what it is. We stayed in the hotel/lodge, upon check-in went to room, immediately took the stained comforter off... More

"Not worth the money". Let me tell you why. Customer service or any type of hospitality does not exist anywhere on this property. Only 3 of the 5 hot springs pools were open that day we visited due to maintenance issues, yet everyone still had to pay full price. The next day when we checked out of our room, we... More

I came with a few girlfriends for a relaxing soak in the pools. we went hiking up the road around cottonwood lake and this was a perfect way to finish a perfect day. We arrived in the late afternoon and almost turned around int he parking lot because while I called it rustic, it is borderline run down. We paid... More

The hot springs are fantastic. Five clean clear rock bottom pools from 80 to 105 degrees. The motel not so much. The room was clean but musty, there was no air circulation, and there was so much static electricity that it was uncomfortable to sleep. A floor fan would have been nice. That said, the hot springs were awesome.

No TV. No wifi. Not great cell service. Just peace, quiet, healing waters, fresh mountain air, large clean simply appointedpuffy beds with soft organic bedding, perfect sleep, large clean simply appointed rooms, and an attentive staff who make guests feel right at home. Plus warm feet due to the geothermal system creating heat in the floors. What more could one... More

Really special treat just outside Buena Vista. Might be great to couple with a rafting trip on the river. 5 hot spring pools of variable temps. Stayed in one of the cabins - very nice but could use an electic upgrade and heat. ( stayed in April)

I paid for a deep tissue massage at "cottonwood spa"....this IS NOT a spa. Rooms are tiny in an old trailer. The therapist was sick...coughing and sneezing in the tiny room. She rubbed entire body with quick light movements, I don't even know what one could call this style-not swinish, definitely not deep tissue-which I paid extra for. Worst massage... More
