If you offer a continental breakfast that runs from 6-9:30, Don't start tearing it down and cleaning it up at 9:10. I called down at 9:10 to see how long breakfast was available. The lady at the front desk said we are tearing it down now. She didn't give the hours it was suppost to be open so I looked it up online it was from 6 to 9:30. I realize I should have hit it a little bit earlier but if its available until 9:30 than keep it open, they were just in a hurry to get it cleaned up and done with. Not impressed.

Understanding Supply and Demand, this property definitely takes advantage of that. We learned that Brighton CO is swarming with field workers in the energy industry. Hotels in this area take advantage of that by charging way more than they are worth. This Super 8 with the minimal provisions provided would be a fair price at $45 a night.

The first room that I was assigned to, the keys couldn't open the door so I was assigned another room. The second room when I laid on the bed I smelt a terrible odor and thought it might be me from traveling all day but discovered it was the bedspread and smelt like b/o and sex. The tv remote wouldn't change channels so I went and told the attendant. The attendant questioned me about whether I knew how to use a remote and insisted on coming to the room b/c he had to see for himself, then he said there wasn't anything he could do. Later, when we went use the tiny bathroom, we discovered that the outlet by the sink did not work and the tub was coated by a grey film.

Negative 5 rating. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT stay at this hotel. Unprofessional staff, dirty rooms and dirty carpet. Place smelled bad. Headboard fell off the wall without us touching it. Gravel dusty parking lot. Staff was seldom at the front desk and too busy to help. No friendly smiles. We were charged for 2 nights, only stayed 1. And they said I had signed for 2. I know I did NOT sign for 2. We asked to speak to the manager John and he was out for 3 days yet. And supervisor Loretta was also "out". Found out there is no Loretta or John working there; just names to put you off. When I called at all hours of the day, "Loretta" was working other shift. Called in later shift and she was working at another time. Crooked ppl, called corporate.
