The Twin Lakes Inn is unusual in several ways. The front door is open 24 hours a day and gives access directly into the whole building. If there was a night porter, visitors would go past him, but there's no night porter. There's no day staff either, although some mornings there was a man behind the desk with his head...

The building was built in 1985 and the Inn has been extensively renovated in the last six years. We try our best to maintain the carpets in hallways and rooms on a regular basis. It is not functional to steam clean when we are full or when the room is going to be occupied that day. One window panel was cracked...

Bizarre decore, breakfast not as good as advertised, kitchen sink directly next to bathroom sink. We confirmed room 106, double queen, and when we arrived after hours our confirmation packet said room 106 but we had the key for room 205, king bedded room. It was late and not worth the hassle of changing rooms knowing they were fully booked....

The Twin Lakes is a comfortable , clean hideaway...I would recommend it to anyone...pet friendly with a great vibe...off the beaten path but easy access to anywhere in Boulder...I was extremely happy with both of my stays and will stay at the Twin Lakes any chance I get!

We just stayed here during the middle of January. I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone who needs temporary housing while either visiting or moving to Boulder. We originally made the reservation for a month, but they were very flexible and let us reduce our stay in case we found an apartment earlier (which we did!). They even accept...

I have stayed here years ago when it was Sandy Point Inn. New Owner, new look with the updated furniture! Still the same personal attention and warm feeling when you are there. Very family orientated and the b/fast kitchen is full with a nice array of items to choose from to start your day! The hot tub was not working...

Family and friends were in town for my daughter's mid-term graduation celebration. We had some last minute changes and Binesh (owner) was very accommodating. We always stay at the Twin Lakes because it is a great value, close to Boulder (on the bus line), quiet and comfortable. If you want an impersonal box go stay near the highway. If you...

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Boulder, meeting up from California and New York. It was hard for us to find a place to stay because we weren't able to physically see any of the apartments we found online. So the day we got into Boulder, we found the Twin Lakes Inn, and decided we would stay for a...

Completely quiet residential neighborhood. Nobody in hotel ever slammed a door or talked loudly in hallways. Loved the 1 mi. round trip walking trail to and around theTwin Lakes and thought the communal kitchen (in addition to mini kitchen in each room) was a terrific idea. Used to be a B&B and and the shelf of books still there is...

This hotel is out of Boulder and in a residential area which was a surprise .During a football weekend, most places were booked and this was a great find. Not far from stadium, clean room and good breadfast. Right next to park with grill available.

Over the past ten years I have visited Boulder at least three times per year, but the weekend of October 11-15 at Boulder Twin Lakes Inn was the first time I have had an unpleasant experience. The young host/owner has an explosive temper & is arrogant, rude, impertinent & threatening. Soon after I checked in & gave my name, Mrs....

This guest came in very dissatisfied from her plane trip and immediately started affecting the tranquility of the Inn. She started banging the doors, wanted us to get off our reservation phone to open her room window, there and then, or else she would call the police. She said she has not slept the night before. She only calmed down...
