We were looking for a dog friendly place we could stay a few nights for a quick getaway -- this was perfect for our needs. The cabin we decided on was #512 & offered a king bed. It is a highly desirable cabin (because only a few offer a king bed) so it was not available all the nights we...

My family stayed in a one bedroom cottage while visiting Boulder. We absolutely loved this location! We took several hikes in the park and loved sitting on our screened porch. There was also a lovely green space a short walk down the street and playground equipment that our toddler loved!

We stayed at the Boulder Chautauqua Cottages for one night during the first week in Feb. When a friend heard I was going there, she said I would wish I had stayed longer, and that was the absolute truth! This is a wonderful historic property with Chautauqua owned lodging interspersed with privately owned cottages. It is located in a very...

The staff is very accommodating. I was able to book a cabin as I rolled into town as my original plans my fell through. It was dark when I arrived, and mid November. The cabin was warm and very comfortable. The surprise was the incredible view as I woke up to walk my dog early the next morning. The mountains...

I was impressed with the reservation staff, the clean accommodations, the fully equipped kitchen and excellent bed/mattress. We were in am efficiency which did lack a comfortable chair. There were stools to eat on the counter and a table on the porch- we moved it inside since it was cold. The grounds are great for walking particularly with dogs.

This was certainly a different sort of holiday. Perfect base for hiking. It was hard to believe how close we were to the main shopping area too. The food in the dining hall was excellent and the people very friendly. For us it was the perfect place to stay, much nicer than staying in an impersonal hotel.

We loved staying here in our little one bedroom cabin with tiny kitchen, screened in porch and living room. It is a wonderful spot at the base of the flatirons and perfect access for the hiking trails. Had great breakfast every morning on the porch of the dining hall. Loved reading about the history here. You can even walk to...

The double beds are tiny. You'd have to be a small couple to fit them. The wi-fi doesn't work in the cold. Yes. That's right. The cold affects the wifi. In Boulder, Colorado. Frustrating to deal with the staff who were completely unhelpful. Much better value to be found in Airbnbs around town.

This is a very nice retro summer-campish place to stay (retro = 1950s-1960s, though the buildings I think are older). However, occupying a cottage is a little complicated, and my recommendation is -- really -- to read the instruction sheet they give you when you get there. I didn't (who reads manuals?), and it took me a couple days to...

The beautiful campus of Colorado Chautauqua has cottages and a lodge with studio rooms (at least ours was) that include a kitchenette. We stayed at Columbine lodge, room C-1. It had a full bed (and I understand the rooms all do), table and three chairs, and a chest of drawers, small bathroom with small vanity and shower, no bath (the...
