This is one of the BEST hotels to stay near Aspen for many reasons: + Location - just a 30mins short drive to Aspen (without staying there as hotels are very expensive) and lots of shops (i.e. Whole Foods) and restaurants nearby in Basalt + Hotel - new, modern, clean and spacious rooms, complete with safe, kitchen, basic amenities for a very comfortable stay plus an indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi and many parking spaces for free. + Breakfast - very good breakfast menu and helpful visible staff to accommodate needs + Service - excellent services by staff who were warm, hospitable and responsive (i.e. provided towels, packed breakfast for a relative who could not leave the room) ALMOST PERFECT - Value - if the price was more affordable (paid $500++ per night) which I expected to be expected near Aspen

This was our first visit to this hotel. The check-in and check-out staff were efficient and very helpful with questions. The room was super clean and very large. They had everything you needed for your stay. We would rate the room and service as excellent. The breakfast was disappointing. The baby tacos they gave out were made for children. All in all, we would stay there again if visiting the area.

What can I say? I have nothing bad and everything good to say about this hotel and it's employees! From the second we checked in we were treated like family. The manager (dang I failed to get his name) is fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable! Told us to go get settled and unpacked and come back down for a cold one complements of him! We did and sat outside by the beautiful firepit. Every morning they serve a complementary breakfast with hot and cold options that is outstanding! The location couldn't be better with lots of dining options, a whole foods, liquor store and Starbucks all within walking distance. Along with a few fun shops as well. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend this place to everyone!

What a fabulous stay, and the service was fantastic! The staff at the Element in Basalt were all incredibly helpful and accommodating and the manager Joe was absolutely superb. We loved the room! They were quite spacious, and included a full size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and stovetop. Travelling with kids, I like to be able to cook a few of my own meals. The hotel breakfast options were plentiful, and the kids ate well every morning. The pool was a favorite, it stayed plenty warm, and being a salt water pool it didn't irritate the eyes like chlorine does. You do need a reservation, but we were able to swim longer during the day when it's less busy. The hot tub has wonderful views of the mountains and was also quite relaxing. The town is friendly, all within walking distance, and across the street from the hotel is an excellent brewery with delicious food. There is a gorgeous park with playground within walking distance as well.

Ideal location, easy walk to Whole Foods, great restaurants, liquor store, bus service. Very comfortable rooms, great staff, beautifully maintained property. Highlight of the hotel was Julie at the front desk - has the patience of Job, always a smile on her face, clearly loves what she's doing and it shows!
