We are booked in for a family dinner and staying for the night on sat 1st October.I got a shock to see the permanently closed sign on TripAdvisor so will report on the level of accomodation and food after we have been.I have spoken to Graham at Willowvale and they are definitely still there.

This is truly a great experience. Graham and all the staff are generous hosts indeed. The dinner was a selection of delicious foods as was the continental breakfast. The bedroom was warm and we both slept soundly. Looking forward to our next visit.

I attended a wedding in the restaurant here recently and I was absolutely charmed by what a wonderful experience the whole thing was. The venue itself is lovely, you pull in to a tree lined drive that leads past stone walls and wooden gate to the front of the building, with it's restored but still rustic charm. The building is... From the moment you enter it feels like home. No pretences, just good, wholesome food and company. This living canvas is rustic, romantic, rambling and charming. Graham's vision is eminent and admirable and you can truly immerse yourself or loose yourself. Whichever, The Mill is a magical and mystical break away from life. Thanks Graham for the work you have... More

Graeme is a great country cook and we have dinned six times and stayed three times in the accommodation. Friendly, fun, honest value and a great experience. Stay there if you can as the drive to nearby Crookwell guest houses , B&Bs needs a sober driver.

I have been visiting, staying and eating at "The Mill" for over 15 years now, and it remains the warmest of welcomes you could get, thanks to Graham Liney, whose Saturday night roast is legendary, whose fruit tarts are more French than French, and all served in front of a roaring fire, and matched with great wines from his eclectic... We live in Sydney but have been to the restaurant 3 times when we are holidaying in the Southern Tablelands. The restaurant is situated in an old flour mill and is a wonderful building. There is huge open fireplace which burns bright on those cold winter nights. The food is quirky and rustic - Graeme doesn't have menus and you... More

Had a memorable meal at Grahams restaurant and it was the best night out at a restaurant ever. Loved the informal atmosphere, the roaring fire and fabulous company. 4 courses of fabulous food - help yourself. Graham ate with us as well and popped back to kitchen occasionally. All restaurant dining should be like this!

I recommend this particularly to Newington parents visiting their kids at the nearby (well 40 minutes away) ag college early in the morning from Sydney! It's a much better idea to stay overnight at the Mill and have some of Graham Liney's fabulous food the night before. Simple, comfortable accommodation - each room has a queen bed and 2 singles...
