Just checked into The London West Hollywood hotel sad to say the first impression is really really bad. We have booked it through American Express fine hotels and resort service. Nothing fine about it at first impression. A general sense of unkemptness runs throughout the...More

This hotel is truly 5 star. From the moment you arrive everything is taken care of. Matt particularly stood out at this point for offering excellent personable service. Upon checking in, we were upgraded to a royal vista room which had the most amazing views...More
Stayed here for 6 nights with my 16 y.o. daughter and friend, and it was a great base for an LA vacation. Very nice property and staff. Loved the pool area, and enjoyed the cabana rental one day. Did not find the pool area to...More
I loved our room! Big, comfy and clean all over. The bathroom had a spa like feel, definitely better than your average hotel bath. Lovely view from the balcony. The complimentary breakfast was nice and fresh. The rooftop terrace was pretty crowded when we went,...More
We had a suite on the 9th floor, corner room over looking the strip. Room was immaculate, bathroom was perfect, shower was powerful and bed comfortable. The one down side was it is noisy facing the strip until very late into the early morning hours...More
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of
wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.

We used a private company and had paid before leaving Australia. I think if cost us about $50. The thing is you need to have a phone with an internet connection to use Uber. We didn't have that option available to us. We used our phone only in emergencies and that suited us. We got by. We used Wi Fi in the hotel for internet surfing. It took about 1 hour to get to hotel but only 1/2 hour to get to Airport from hotel using a taxi. Cost was similar.
