I stumbled upon the Mondrian and I’m very happy I did so. Was visiting some friends in Culver City and one of them mentioned I should stay here. I now will only stay at the Mondrian when I come back to LA. It’s also located right in the heart of West Hollywood, next to so many delicious restaurants! When I checked in I was offered a free upgrade to one of their suites overlooking greater LA. When I got into the suite it was nothing short of spectacular, 800 sq. ft room with a perfect room layout. I cannot say enough good things about the pool and the welcoming service. All in all my favorite hotel in LA! Thanks so much :)
Recently stayed at the Mondrian while on business and visited the sky bar. I was absolutely blown away by the service provided by the manager named Jeffrey who went above and beyond for my colleague and I. He was so welcoming, memorable, and funny which helped us unwind from the long busy day at work. Jeffrey was truly a gem and I definitely plan on being back here often. My room was modern and clean, and I can only Speak about breakfast which was spot on. See you soon Mondrian!
Super clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Called down to the front desk a few times for some towels, extra sheets, etc and everything was delivered within 10 minutes of calling. Diana at the front desk was even able to help us get a room with a better view when we asked. Rooftop pool is beautiful with a great view. Highly recommend!
I am wrapping up a two-night stay at The Mondrian in a suite. The location is great (why I booked it primarily) and the property has been relatively recently renovated. That being said - as often seems to be the case with these boutique WeHo hotels which care more about the pool party aesthetic than the basics of customer service - the overall service experience was severely lacking: - Upon check-in we were told that housekeeping was upon request only - which seems rather bizarre this late into the COVID situation. Nonetheless, I called the front desk early in the morning to request housekeeping, and was told it was confirmed. After 7 hours out on the town, I returned to find the room had not been serviced. I called the front desk again, and was told that although housekeeping was running a bit behind, they would service our room by the end of the day. After getting back at 9 PM, the room was not serviced - and the front desk told me that housekeeping had ended at 4 PM. I fully understand that everyone is short-staffed these days, but I'm still amazed that the staff simply could not tell the truth about the likelihood of us receiving basic housekeeping service - not to mention the fact that this property is clearly so short-staffed that they can't even provide basic room cleaning service to folks in premium rooms/suites. I did request towels from the front desk, though it so far has taken over 20 minutes for those to arrive and I am not hopeful. - I requested a bag of ice sent to my room (the property doesn't have ice-makers on each floor) and simply never received it. How hard is it to bring a bag of ice to a room? - There is a small fridge in the room, but it does not work. Additionally, the door to the cabinet in which this fridge was stored was broken (wondering if these folks will try to charge me for that?) - The hotel restaurant was closed, yet there's still a $200+ per day charge for incidentals each day - for what, exactly? Overall, though the hard product here is certainly good - the renovated room is nice - the soft product, and the general culture of customer service, is so derelict that I will never stay in this hotel again, and would have to strongly advise against it to my peers. It is certainly not worth the money which was paid - I have stayed in Hampton Inns with a better customer service philosophy.…
I very much enjoyed this hotel- great restaurant/food, modern rooms and super fun pool area. Also the location is right in the heart of West Hollywood and LA. Pretty reasonable pricing too! The views were also incredile and everyone who worked there was very kind. Would recommend staying here for younger to mid aged.
